India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

When drank fairly fresh, this IPA can burst with flavor against the best of them. I've definitely come to appreciate it more and more over time. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

One of my favorite beers from one of my favorite breweries. Great flowery aroma, good bite on the bitterness. Good balance and drinkability.

Pours orange-copper witha nice off-white head. Smells of spicey hops with a hint of pine. Tastes of sweet well-balanced hoppiness. I actually was expecting a more intense hop flavor but it is really well-balanced. A good IPA, but not the best I have had.

Bottle pours amber with large off white head. Aromas of hops, pine, sweet malts. Flavor of hops (not overly hopped), citrus, pine, and caramel. Starts sweet with a bitter hoppy finish.

The best IPA I have ever had. Of course, I am biased being from Michigan and ’growing up’ on this one. Still, the citrus and the smoothness make me completely happy. Even the damn fish on the bottle brings me joy.

Sweet aroma with beautiful hop notes . Hints of grassyness and summer. Pours a brilliant golden hue with a well developed lasting head. Belgian lace with bearded structures form as I drink this ale. Sweet forward flavors with a lingering bitter, but not walloped, finish. Very clean palate. Pine forests? Clean flavors. Excellent IPA. Top of class. Excellent accompaniment to foods that need some cleansing bitter notes, yet perfect to sip on the porch after a long day at work.

Nice little IPA. Aroma is grass, flowers, and maybe a little pine. Appearance is an amber orange two fingers of fluffy white head. Taste is very bitter with hints of citrus and floral, but an nice little malt backbone. The brew is crisp and dry.

A fine IPA from Larry Bell. Lighter hop nose, good color and mouthfeel, perfect IPA hop flavor, and (suprisingly for Bell's), not much malt prominence. Not suprisingly (at 7% alcohol), it is a dab light bodied. Very, very good take on India Pale Ale. One complaint: Why is this seasonal?? But for lovers of the brew who miss it 'off season', try Bell's Third Coast, if you haven't - that should tide you over!

Hazy orange color with big white head. Aroma is dominated by citrisy hops. The tatse is too, but there is enough malt to back it up. Bitter and citrisy all the way through. Makes me want more. A very enjoyable beer.
