Excellent flavor with a strong, bitter after taste. Not my style of beer. But I would definately have another one.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: AUG 7, 2012 This beer has a nice malty aroma and flavor, and a very pleasant citrus hop aroma if you get a young bottle. The hop aromas fade with time, but the beer remains one of the best ipa?s available. Well balanced bitterness with slight caramel malt profile. One of the best ipa?s available.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a light yellowish brown with a small, white head that lingers. Aroma is strong and hoppy, with herbs. Parsley and grass, smells delicious. The flavor is a lot more subdued, but still very hoppy, with grapefruit and orange at the front. Thereís some earthy herbal flavor as sips go through, and the beer finishes with more grapefruity bitterness. This brew is spectacular. Pungent, hoppy aroma, and smooth, drinkable flavor.

This is my favorite IPA! Check it out at Pinocchioís in Media, PA. They have it in 16 oz cans. Also, Bell Bev in South Philly sometimes has it on sale. If you like IPAs, it will surely make your top five. Cheers!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
From a bottle purchased in Grand Marais, MN. Deep gold, thin lacy head. Citrus and pine aroma. Dry on the palate with a bit of the alcohol showing through. Creamy with average carbonation. Pleasant bitter from beginning to end. A good brew.
