Great IPA, nice hoppy aroma. Poured real well, head and lacing excellent.Dry hoppy flavor, with a little citrus ? Nice light orange coloring slightly cloudly. When the bottling is on it’s hard to beat this beer. IPALover (63) - Carlsbad, California, USA - MAY 13, 2008
Nice lighter IPA (i consider this more of a good pale ale). Reviewing this as a hoppy pale ale (not an IPA), I like the dryness of this beer and how that helps highlight the citric/floral notes of the hops in the beer. I’ve had the beer in bottle and on tap and prefer the tap as the cleaness and crisp hops come through better. This is a very nice pale ale!
Having brewed this beer as a homebrewer, I think it would improve with alittle more variety of hops (though love cents). AndrewMichaelZ (63) - - SEP 20, 2014
Poured into Spieglau IPA glass. Orangish-copper with a beige foamy and creamy head.
Deep grapefruit citrus aromas lead the charge with resiny back notes.
Crisp and clean bitterness on the palate with a light-medium body and medium to high carbonation.
Good but IMO doesn't hold up to some of the ratings I've seen.

Tap pour at Geoffreys. Nice pour of clear amber with decent white head. Sweetly scented with citrus dominating. Taste is more pineapple than grapefruit with hints of hops. Aftertaste bitterness quickly subsides. Good IPA. GrungyBob (62) - Kettering, Ohio, USA - DEC 8, 2009
Bottle pours a golden amber with thick tan white head. Aroma is big and hoppy lots of floral and citrus with a soft mellow malty sweetness. Taste is Hops hops hops with just a little soft malty sweetness. Very dry bitter pucker finish. Good solid daily drinker.

12 oz to pint glass. Clear amber with thin but lacing head. Bright hops and floral on the noise. Great balanced malt to taste. Incredibly well balanced ale. So much that you might not pin it for an ipa. zethca (62) - West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 2, 2007
Mini-keg. Slightly cloudy copper pour, big foamy head. Aroma of citrus, pine, grassy floral hops. Flavor is bitter floral hops with hints of citrus. BeNobleDark (62) - Allendale, Michigan, USA - DEC 6, 2007
Fantastic head, mindblowing aroma, and an absolutely fantastic body. The hop and malt balance is perfect for this IPA. I daresay, one of the best IPAs i’ve ever had the chance to taste. CheersBabe (62) - USA - FEB 4, 2008
Ive never given a beer a perfect score on any category. This beer however looked beautiful for a pale. Huge, I mean huge, head with an orange body. Nice full ale taste. Overall a great beer.
