Oarngish in color with an adequate head on top. Smells of hops, citrus, and sugary malts. Leaves a smooth but bitter aftertaste that is not overwhelming. A very refreshing beer. All in all a good IPA. Coolmac (58) - SOUTH AFRICA - JUN 17, 2013
Pours hazy orange with low head. Less hop aroma than expected, but got citrus and other fruit aromas. Flavour is sweet caramel with good hop citrus. Very nice. Skykwby (58) - Texas, USA - OCT 5, 2013
From a tap, after having 2 Matilda's from goose island (which I liked). Floral pine weed aroma. Pours golden in color, not much head from this tap. First sip a nice touch of bitter hops, clean. Fresh floral, pine notes. Very nice beer, hoppy.

Two Hearted is bold and beautiful. This is a hop assault and if you’re not into that you may be excused! I prefer mine in a tulip but this is one of those rare ales that noses well in almost any glass. The tropical fruits hit me first, mango and pineapple, guava; the deep undertow is earthy herbs and flowers. The nose is STELLAR! The color is of a robust lager really, much lighter that the standard IPA hue. A hazy light orange with a tiny bubbled bright white head. The first sip is an immediate hop assault. There’s some cracker like malt presence in the very way back. but this is about da hops! The carbonation is flat out perfect! I want to rant about how amazingly complex the hop profile in this baby is! There is no friggin doubt this deserves all the accolades heaped upon it. A must rotation ale for all hopheads to which it is available! zimm421 (57) - Ohio, USA - APR 7, 2011
Appears a nice orange to amber color with a nice, thick white head that leaves great lacing. The nose is full of citrus and pine scents, and they are very present in the taste as well. There’s also some nice balance to the taste as some malts stand out as well. This is medium bodied and it goes down very easily. Overall a great IPA, and one of my favorites!

Very smooth IPA. I am not a fan of bitter IPA. This one rolls smooth off the palate. OberonTheifEMT (56) - Ferndale, Michigan, USA - DEC 18, 2003
Pours a wonderful cloudy orange with a nice thick head. I recommend a tulip. Aroma is intensely bitter, smells like pure hops extract. Flavor is crisp. My palate is a battle ground between the huge bitterness and the malty goodness. What a wonderful kazooka (55) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - DEC 23, 2009
Strong floral hoppy aroma. Goldenrod appearance, minimal off white head. Light sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, long bitter finish. A well-balanced IPA. Delicious and refreshing! squigs46 (55) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - JAN 24, 2011
absolute gold...great drinkable beer that is good to start the night with. high enough abv to give you a boost but smooth enough to keep them coming. rjwhite41 (55) - osceola, Iowa, USA - NOV 5, 2013
I guess I’ve never rated this although I’ve had it a hundred times or so. 12 oz bottle poured into an imperial pint (use a tulip glass if you have one on hand). Pours a slightly hazy light amber with small off white head. Smells of pine, tropical fruits, sweet caramel and biscuit. Tastes begins with a malty caramel sweetness and then transitions to the hops; starts with the tropical fruits, citrus, then heavy pine and grassiness and ends with a drying bitterness. Aftertaste lingers on the tip of the tongue. Medium to light bodied, very flavorful and very sessionable. Delicious beer, alcohol is well hidden.
