India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

UPDATED: OCT 24, 2003 Rerate 10/21/03: After getting a sixer of Two Hearted this year, I have to bump the score up. This really is a top of the line IPA. 09/29/02 (3.8):There's hops it that there beer! This was a 'guest tap' at Barley's brewpub here in Columbus, and although I usually find it wrong to try beers outside of the brewpub where I am drinking, I'm glad I made an exception here. Cloudy orange color with a thin head. Strong hoppy, floral aroma. Hops dominate the flavor as well, bordering on the extreme. This beer will definitely keep your attention. Take a whiff of one of these during a boring meeting and you'll wake right up. You'll probably get fired but you'll be awake.

I haven’t had this in a while, it was the first IPA I really loved. It is nice and citrusy with a medium to low bitterness.

courtesy of Chris Beers - pours a cloudy orange colour under a huge foamy white head; fairly fruity hoppy nose (mango and apricots) with notes of fresh cream; quite soft mouthfeel and full-bodied; a robust but never aggressive bitterness takes control of the taste; moderately dry bitter and long fruity finish - balanced and robust; very well-made

Bottle. [Thanks to my Secret Santa]
Pours a lightly hazy orange amber with a smallish bubbly/creamy white head. Good lacing. Aroma is brilliant, lots of hops. Lemons, grapefruit, pine, lavender, flowers and a little crystal-maltiness behind it. Low carbonation. Flavour is mildly bitter at first, then expands with a well-balanced malty base of sweetness, then finishes medium dry with a good powerful hop addition. Grapefruit hops are most apparent, so are lemony and grassy hops.

crisp and lemony citrus. Grapefruit Bitter sipping with fruity salt, and bitter aftertaste with high but effective complementary hops. Lots of initial and remaining foam. Light texture. Floral aroma. Alcohol punch

nice floral hop aroma and a sturdy malt backbone make this one very well balanced and tasty ipa. stands out from the crowd, but is not among my personal favorites. i DO wish it was available here though. not a hop bomb, but there’s enough there to take notice. crisp, clean, dry bitter finish."
