On tap at the Eccentric Cafe. Pours a hazy light brown with a almost no head to speak of. Aroma is filled with bourbon, wood, and wheat. Taste is fantastic! Bourbon, scotch, wood, caramel and grains. It’s as smooth as 18 year Jameson. I love this beer and would buy and drink it constantly if it were available in bottles. Cbuk1013 (247) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - JUN 21, 2013
UPDATED: JUN 25, 2013 On tap at Bells Eccentric Cafe 6-21-13. This doesn’t taste much like an Oberon. Tastes more like a cross between a very smooth scotch and white wine. Bourbon and fruit but not a lot of wheat. Very good beer, but definitely not a session beer. inkubus27 (269) - highland, Indiana, USA - JUN 23, 2008
UPDATED: JUL 22, 2008 Eccentric cafe. Poured a light shade of copper with barely any head. The aroma on this one made it seem like it was aged in scotch barrels. The flavor of this was amazing. It tastes nothing like regular oberon, but instead carries a big oaky-scotch like flavor with a big caramel malty backbone. Almost reminds me of an barley wine. I have to say this is one of the more unique and creative beers I’ve had in a while. I really enjoyed it. njager246 (697) - grand rapids, Michigan, USA - JUL 20, 2013

December 5, 2015 - on tap at Happy Gnome. Clear golden orange pour with limited head. Just as expected, aroma and taste of a bourbon barrel Oberon.

Clear deep golden with a thin foamy white cap. Boozy wheaty blonde nose with a touch of oak and sunshine. Crisp flavor that’s boozy and oaked and wheaty and just a light touch of white wine and orange pith. Bright and oakey and citrusy and boozy and just...amazing. Got it at the Eccentric cafe. Pretty cool idea, taking a somewhat boring wheat ale and aging it in bourbon barrels. The result is a lot of whisky and oak in the nose, and a lot of whisky in the taste. Basically, takes the light wheat notes out of the beer and replaces them with bourbon. I liked it. shrubber85 (11574) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - AUG 3, 2013
Draft. Woody bourbon, orange and peel aroma. Hazy golden yellow with moderate head. Sweet orange, bourbon, and orange peel flavor. Nice blend of beer. ICEatALAMO (1352) - Troy, Michigan, USA - AUG 8, 2013
Draft at brewery. The pour is a bright orange. The aroma is citrus with the smallest hint of bourbon. The aging really changes the profile of the beer from oberon. Nice drinking light bourbon beer.

On tap at Bell’s Eccentric Cafe.
A deep, clear amber with an excellent head and lacing.
Smells and tastes like a light, wheaty barleywine.
O: Like no other beer I’ve ever had. Much enjoyed even though I don’t much like Oberon.
