3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Paid $4 for a four-pack of 16floz cans. Canned on date indicates 10.05.2017 (shelf life 6 months), Poured into an imperial nonic glass. Smells of phenols like lemon zest and banana peel. Appears a school bus yellow with particles in suspension. This beer is smooth and mild. Clove and straw flavors blend well together and leave a slight sourness. Spring is soon, and this beer is more fitting for that season.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle - Pours a hazy pale gold with fizzy white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, light fruits, mild lemon, some pale wheat malt. Flavors of wheat malt, some cough drop, floral hints, light fruits, with some spices, mild hops in the center and finish.

3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle, poured into weizen. Bottled on 10/28/16. No longer winter in Arkansas. So, this is a winter warmer. Warm winter....whatever.
Pours a creamy yellow color. The typical color of "white" beers. Good two finger head. Good retention, good lacing. Pretty cloudy, hazy. Plenty of very fine particulate. Typical of a witbier.
Aroma is yeast and wheat. Sort of wheat baguette aroma. Light banana, white pepper. Thatís about all, kinda light.
Taste is yeast, wheat and white pepper. White pepper gives this some spice. Banana is not so present in taste.
Mouthfeel is medium light. Easy drinking. A little bit chalky. A little spicy pepper bitterness in the finish.
Overall, itís pretty good. Not quite what I expect from a winter warmer. But still pretty good. I wouldnít buy it again, and I probably wouldnít recommend it. Thereís really nothing spectacular about it.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A- White pepper, cloves, wheat, light fruity esters.
A- Orange color, cloudy liquid, white head.
T- Wheat, clove, coriander, spices, subtle banana, subtle bubblegum.
P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish.
O- I can always appreciate witbiers since they are what got me into craft. That said, this is one of the better ones I have had recently but my palate has just changed too much. Donít get a ton of fruity esters, especially banana, but there is quite a bit of spice.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. bottle from a visit to NewYork. Pours a pale yellow, ever so slightly hazed, with a 1/4" white head. No lace. Belgian yeast, clove, wheat and subtle banana on the nose. Flavor sports a bit of Belgian funk with some light spice, mostly clove and coriander. Medium bodied and bubbly in the mouth. Nice!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Well not sure what qualifies this as a "winter" ale, rather comes across as a standard Belgian-esque witbier, pours a thoroughly hazy straw orange color, white foamy head and respectable fresh lacing. Aroma of clove and other yeasty notes, flavor follows as lemon-zest and clove yeast and a bit of light malt, maybe a hint of warm spices but you would have to really look for it. Relatively mild flavor intensity, smooth medium palate. Overall underwhelming for Bellís, not bad but not too exceptional.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can version through Fizzics. A straight ahead Belgian wit with all the expected components. Pours cloudy light orange with a thick frothy white cap that slides down the sides if the glass in thick meringue dollops. Light tart and lemony with lots of coriander and clove notes. Smooth pillowy body. Aroma is very musty with apparent orange rind and yeasty phenols.
