Wow. This has some zing to it. Got it as a gift from a Michigander friend for a friendly wager on the Lions-Packers game. Packers won, so I got some Michigan beer. Of course I asked for Bells. It pours a hazy, golden color, impossible to see through, with a thick foamy head, which of course reminds me of the Packersí similarly impenetrable secondary. The aroma has some great citrus notes, as light and airy as Charles Woodson gracefully decending to the turf with yet another interception. The flavor very yeasty, with spicy clove notes that zip, perfectly on-target, to the back of your tongue like an Aaron Rodgers touchdown pass. Itís really a great blend of the Hefe and Belgian styles, kind of like B.J. Raji throwing a block for John Kuhn as he dives for the endzone. Unlike the Lionsí defense after Ndamukong Suh was ejected, thereís nothing missing from this beer. Thanks Kevin! Youíre a good sport, and this was a great beer.

Can version through Fizzics. A straight ahead Belgian wit with all the expected components. Pours cloudy light orange with a thick frothy white cap that slides down the sides if the glass in thick meringue dollops. Light tart and lemony with lots of coriander and clove notes. Smooth pillowy body. Aroma is very musty with apparent orange rind and yeasty phenols.

Pours hazy yellow. White head. Aroma is banana, cloves. Medium-heavy body. Pretty foamy in the mouth. Not bad, but Iím not feeling it as a _winter_ beer.

12oz bottle. Clear golden with white head. Peppery clove, light fruit, earthy sulfer aromas. Medium bodied. Nice fruity, peppery, phenol flavors with wheat bread, herbs___tasty.

Pretty decent white ale. A lot of banana and clove. The spices arenít too overwhelming, just surprised this was the winter seasonal. Would be great in the summer too. Tried with the parents in 2016.

First mostly undrinkable beer Iíve tasted from Bellís, but man is this thing wretched. Flat and head-free despite its spicy Belgian carbonation, Winter White starts bittersweet but quickly heads in the wrong direction, stacking your average bananaclove hefe notes on top of a unpleasant cloy corn sweetness. Finishes spiky and saccharine where it should be smooth and dry. Rough goings, to say the least.

Sampled on draught at Millerís Pub in Chicago. Cloudy yellow/amber with a cream head. Quite fruity with tastes of banana, bubblegum, cloves and sour lemon. The texture is a little creamy and heavy for this style of beer. OK, but not great.

Pours a hazy off orange color with no head. Aroma is coriander and clove, orange peel, wheat, banana. Taste is stronger banana, coriander, weak clove, and weak bitter orange zest. Overall a very average white ale.
