Pours pale copper. Smells of sweet apples, some honey hints in the backdrop. Tastes sweet and syrupy with some spicy hints on the finish.

Bottle. Pours a clear yellow, no head. Big sweet apples, candy apple aromas. Quite sweet, a touch vegetal and funky. Weird, overly sweet and plasticy. Bleh. Lingering sugar on the finish. Nothing great.

(Rating #3120)

This comes from a neat little cider near Cayuga Lake, New York. I stopped by for a tasting and bought some to take home. Pale pour. Nice bottle. Light, spicy flavor. Very pleasant, with touches of bruised apples, lemony tang, prunes, and herbs. Light, but still flavorful. A fine cider..

Pours fizzy, straw colored liquid. Some sulfur on the first sip, but that goes away. It’s a better take relative to Euorpean ciders than the Liberty Spy, and it continues Bellwether’s overall tradition of superior products. Overall, a very approachable cider. Try it if you can find it.

Bottle. Pours a light yellow golden body. Aroma is sugary, tart. Flavor is the same with a slight dryness to it. This one was pretty smooth.

Sampled at The Old Toad - Rochester, NY. Pale yellow color with no head. Aroma is very dry and tart with lots of apples and some dry sugars. Flavor is very tart, tangy, and dry. Very dry and warm at the end. Tastes like a decent Chardonnay.

Bottle... Almost colorless. Nice nose of funky peach, stale insole (in a good way?) and an intimation of green apple bubblegum. Tart n tangy flavor. Light to medium-bodied with a dry mouthfeel and a hint of carbonation. Finishes acidic and dry. Kudos to argo0 for sharing the bottle!

750mL, courtesy of argo0. Light straw appearance, headless. Reserved green apple aroma, complex sugar quality. Huge amounts of sweetness, tart apple in a full mouthfeel. Seems to have slight hints of vanilla running throughout.

(750ml bottle) Clear pear juice body, no head. Aroma is medium sweet, apple crisp, light pear, spice/yeast. Taste is moderately sweet, apple, crisp, pear, light dusky. Light body, light sticky.
