Bottle: Poured a deep black color ale with a large brown foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of tart notes with some dry roasted notes that are also perceptible. Taste is a mix between some tart notes with some dry roasted malt notes with light funky and acidic undertones. Body is about average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Interesting mix but I am not personally a big fan of those soured stout. mds (2256) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 22, 2014

Pours black with a long lasting off-white billowing head. An abundance of cherries in the aroma along with roasted malts. Very drinkable for its strength. Lots of things going on here, I like this style. Tart fruit flavours and rich stout character make for a nice beer.
500 mL bottle from the brewery, #1376/1563, served in a branded stem glass. Pours black with a tall, rocky tan head that fades slowly to a thin remnant and leaves a small amount of fine lace. The nose has big notes of sour cherry and green apple, along with roasted malts and dark chocolate. The flavour is moderately dry and slightly sour up front, becoming a bit more sour towards the end. Notes of coffee, chocolate, roasted malts and subtle smoke pair nicely with the sour fruit. It closes out with a long, sour fruit finish with just a touch of roasted malt. On the palate, it is medium in body with a dry texture and average carbonation. Overall, this is a nice sour stout that effectively balances two distinct flavour profiles while retaining each. Well done. 2014-01-18 VT (2527) - Quebec City, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 8, 2014
500 ml bottle. Pours black with a short lived beige head. Aroma is chocolate, bitterness, tartness. Flavor is lots of coffee, dark chocolate, dark fruits and coconut. Finish is very tart, oldish, woodey. Medium to full body, average to strong carbonation.

Pours black (very dark brown) with low beige head. Good lacing. Aroma is of chocolate, vanilla, roasted malt, fruits. Taste is of fruits, sourness, slight acid, some roasted malt, sugar. Alcohol (not well hidden). Palate: Medium body. Overall: "ok". Not a "style" I enjoy that much. Too much alcohol. Decent. tom10101 (6297) - Quebec, CANADA - NOV 29, 2013
Bottle (500 ml). Thanks to Sammy for this one. Dark brown wit a small beige head and little lacing. Aroma is of milk chocolate, vanilla, roasted malt and light fruitiness. Taste is of roasted malt, light to moderate sourness (that is not really present in the aroma), milk chocolate and vanilla. Alcohol is well hidden. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Good dark Sour. Nice balanced. Well crafted. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - NOV 24, 2013
Brown pour with a tan head. The aroma is a mix of chocolate and roasted malt. The flavor is similar with some watery chocolate and roasted malt coming through strongly. There is also a light amount of dark fruit. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. If this wasn’t listed as a sour I would have had no idea it was supposed to be sour, because I got no sour notes in the flavor or aroma.
