Bottle from the brewery. Another surprise found in the back of my stash - I think I bought it at one of the first bottle sales at Bellwoods, so it’s probably 8 or 9 months old. Still seems in good shape, though. Slightly hazy orange-copper body with a a couple of fingers of thick and creamy head. Aroma is a bit muddled, but some nice notes in there - spicy yeast, fruit (peach, slightly bruised pear), caramel. Fairly soft body, not a lot of carbonation. Flavour, like the aroma, lack clarity - but also like the aroma, the elements (fruit, yeast, spice) are nice. Just hard to pick up one great thing to grab onto. So not the best beer these guys have done - but even an average beer from Bellwoods is pretty good. mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 28, 2012
[4591-20120706] 650mL bottle. Light wet mould and celery mushroom leaves aroma. Slightly hazy, amber brown body with a quick foamy off-white head. Dry leaf yeast flavour. Medium body. Interesting enough. (7/3/7/3/14-) 3.4

At the brewery. Pours a cloudy orange-amber with short lasting foamy white head. Aroma is sweet, fruity and malty with some bready malt. Flavour is slightly sweet malts and nice nuanced hop bitter, cfrancis (3456) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 16, 2012
Thanks to jercraigs for this. Pours a dark amber with a thin white ring. Aroma is spicy yeast. Taste has a nice spice sting to it with the sweetness of malt behind. Dry mouthfeel. Really nice beer. HogTownHarry (6925) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - OCT 25, 2012
July 6, 2012 - with blankboy, gregclow, jercraigs, mabel & tupalev. Bomber c/o gregclow. Very clear slightly amber-tinged gold with a smallish lasting frothy/rocky off-white head (3+). Aroma is spicy, but fairly sweet - kind of a lager/witbier cross (7-). Taste is a decent somewhat sweet saison - lots of yeast and soft spiciness, fruity, a little dry and grassy, some alcohol. Average body, a bit astringent, low-level carbonation, with building grassy/pithy back palate bitterness in the tail.

Bottle [650ml] shared with HogTownHarry, tupalev, GregClow, jerc & mabel -- c/o GregClow. Pours a hazy orange-amber with an average size diminishing frothy off-white head. Aroma is sugary sweet, fruity and grainy along with some bready malt. Flavour’s a bit sweet and grainy along with some malt and a bitter finish. Average to medium bodied. Good stuff, a nice version of the style. robinvboyer (4677) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 16, 2012
Solid bready, sweet, grainy malts. Light grassy hops, but the malts are what shines here. Low carb, viscous mouthfeel. Light funk on the palate, with some solid bitterness. Buiscuity finish with some light fruits. barncatmatt (2286) - Cambridge, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 14, 2012
bomber from the brewery. simple estery belgian ale nose. lotsa of fermentation character in the flavour. really lacking malt body if its trying to be a biere de garde. a medicure belgian amber ale. jercraigs (10374) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 10, 2012
2012-07-06. Crisp dark amber body with a modest beige head that fades. 3+ Modest aroma, toasty malt, modest alcohol, light spice. 7+ Flavour is similar, modest alcohol, light spice, mild malt core. Average bodied palate. Enjoyable, pretty subtle, the alcohol while mild overshadows the flavour a little bit. Pretty decent. Bottle shared by GregClow

"Oooooh! Erotic cakes!"
A dark amber ale with a thick dissipating mocha head. In aroma, a smooth caramel malt with fruity esters, plums, a bit of chalk notes. In mouth, a smooth fruity malt, rather Belgian, a bit of ginger, interesting. On tap at brewery, June 24 2012.
