Whatup14 (2138) - Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 30, 2016

On tap at Beaus Oktoberfest 2016. A nice hazy light copper pour with an off white head. Easy to drink with a fresh and slightly dank citrus with hints of ammonia, some biscuity grainy malt, moderate body and carbonation, slightly bitter and dry, enjoyable.

500ml bottle from Toronto (thx, Peter!). Pours an opaque cloudy golden (slightly dirty) with a white head. Aroma is tropical fruits, citruses, some tea notes, slightly dirty. Taste is the ptetty same with accent on tea, herbal and grassy notes. Good stuff.

Bottle - Fresh hoppy leafy notes and citrus peel. Cloudy gold with a frothy white head. Nice and light with some leafy notes. Nice and light.

Hazy light amber, thin head. Marmalade nose with some dried sage and pine needles, along with a light caramelly accent. Fairly full body. Tannic Earl Grey notes, bringing floral, lavender, orangey notes and again the touch of caramel along with the sweet pale malts. Very fresh, they must have dumped a truckload of hops into this.

500mL bottle, sent from wilco (thanks a lot, Mike), pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out huge floral hops, with a hugely flowery quality, with lots of citrus. Flavour is super flowery, with tons of floral hops, and a little citrus. A super pungent flowery APA. Very nice.

50 cl bottle @ Timo A. Bottled 09/2016.
Pours hazy golden color with a small head. Hoppy aroma, some spice notes, herbs, citrus and some pine. Flavor is grapefruits and lemon, herbal, some malt backbone, bitter finish. The aroma is a bit too herbal for me, otherwise decent APA.

Creamy hoppy beer. Very crushable and satisfying, glad I got a bottle from the source. Chinook has a unique Canadian character.

Lubiere (14133) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 24, 2016
A hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, intense mix of resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, catty notes, pungent and delicious. In mouth, a nice crisp biscuit malt with loads of citrusy floral hops, grapefruit pulp, fruity esters, pungent and complex yet quaffable. On tap at Beau’s Oktoberfest 2016.

Tried tap and bottle, tap is the way to go if you can. Really nice palate light and easy to drink but with fresh hop oiliness, good resinous hop flavour with a bit of pepper. Huge flavour for 5%er!
