A hazed amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with smooth butterscotch notes, tropical fruits, nice. In mouth, a sweet smooth lemony malt with kiwi, leechee, nice and smooth. Cask Days 2013. Sammy (12099) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 30, 2012
Enjoyed on tap at Bellwoods. Thick lace on an Orange body. Very saison yeast aroma. Magnum and Styrian Goldings hops, with the cloves, lime, yeast, and tangerines make for a full mouthfeel. Imaginative though not so extremely radical. jercraigs (10303) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 8, 2013
UPDATED: MAR 31, 2013 2013-03-28. Crisp bright orange large foamy white head. 4 modest aroma, lightly spicey, modest pale malt, light alcohol. 7+ Flavour is similar, relatively dry, fairly spicey, floral notes, spice has a bitterness to it, sort of nutmeg or clove like? 7+ Smooth average plus bodied palate is quite carbonated, suits it. 3++ Much more depth than previous sample, but the clove grows a lot as it goes on which might entice me on another day but was limiting my enjoyment of it slightly today. 7/4/7/4/14 3.6 Bottle shared by GregClow.JoeMcPhee (9426) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 29, 2012
2012-12-31. Dark orange body with a small off -white head. 3+ Flavour is quite dry and relatively bitter. Sort of floral quality to the hops. 6+ Aroma is similar, floral hops, dry sort of flour like pale malt. 6+ Average bodied palate with low carbonation. Something, I think the hops, are not to my taste. Didn’t quite get into this one. Will try again if I get a chance. 7/3/7/3/13 3.3 Bottle at Volo, Toronto
UPDATED: OCT 26, 2013 2013 Version at Cask Days. Cloudy golden pour. The nose has a bright citrus and lightly tart aroma. Spices and earthy with some nice bright fruit and lingering lemon. Fresh and delicious.

Cloudy pale golden pour. The nose has a lot of warming clove aroma and a spicy yeastiness as well. Soft citrus and a touch of cooked banana character as well. Fairly assertive bitterness for the style along with a little bit of spice. It’s not a typical winter ale, but I do kind of like it.

UPDATED: JUN 29, 2013 [5043-20121231] Tap. Mild orange hops aroma. Hazy, orange red body with a quick foamy off-white head. Dry orange hops flavour has a bitter white wine aftertaste. Medium-full body. Interesting, just a little too dry bitter winey for me. (7/3/8/3/15) 3.6

[5174B-20130328] Big bottle. Fresh hop floral soap aroma. Hazy, orange amber body with a medium-lasting creamy white head. Bitter cloves and sweet orange hops flavour. Medium body. Really interesting, super boozy. (7/4/7/4/15) 3.7
Very strong, tasty beer. Pours clody orange with creamy head, good lacing. Smells like ginger and cloves - great saison for winter. Aroma has floral hops and alcohol as well. Taste is tangy with some bitterness. Tap at brewpub. blankboy (7662) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 2, 2013
Bottle [750ml] shared with GregClow, jerc & mabel -- c/o GregClow. Pours a hazy orange-copper with a large fluffy off-white and some lacing on the glass. Aroma and flavour are yeasty, fruity and herbal along with lots of cloves and nutmeg. Medium bodied. Fantastic, I loved the spiciness of it. Aroma: candy, vanilla , slight tartness. Alcohol notes with medium dry hop feel. Straight approach yet very nice. 8-
Apperance: murky amber with medium top. Some lace shown. 3+
Taste/Palate etc. Medium bodied. Dry mi with fuller walls. Vanilla , some peach , hint of plum with meadowy floral wrap. Good.
December 30, 2012 - on draught at Volo. Cloudy golden pour with a minimal head. Aroma of alcohol, spice, floral bitterness and fruit/banana background sweetness - very yeasty and appealing, if perhaps more summery. Taste follows, a tad boozier with less spiciness ("Carlos SpicyWeiner here!" keeps running through my head, I really should watch less Family Guy). Average body, nicely carbonation, finishes quick and a bit dry - I really liked it and will drink it again if I ever see it around. robinvboyer (4586) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 23, 2013
Cask Days 2013.
Hazy yellow pour, small white head. Tropical fruit aroma, lime, and kiwi come through. Malts are sweet, and bready, wth some light yeasty esters. Finish was lightly bitter, with more tropical fruit, and some light tartness, with some solid lemon, and the alcohol is nowhere to be found. Nice stuff!
