December 17, 2014 - at Bar Hop - on draught. Looks great - light brassy gold with a large lasting creamy/foamy white head. That aroma - wow - catty, with waves of passionfruit/mango/pineapple - pungent, solid alcohol - damn near a 10. Taste follows, less fruit, solid cereal grain, restrained alcohol - but mostly catty and a big aggressive. Light body, slick, a bit still, with a long, long catty coating finish, almost pine resin; simple mouthfeel, but hoo-WAH that aroma! ciocanelu (2855) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - FEB 24, 2017
Really hazy bright yellow color with slightly off-white head. Aroma is dank, oniony but also tropical with sweet fruits. Taste starts quite bitter up-front, dank, really hoppy, chivey, some clean malt in the background, really well balanced. Medium plus body, smooth mouthfeel. Overall it’s a great, NE style DIPA with a very well hidden ABV. SG111 (1974) - New York, USA - JAN 13, 2017
UPDATED: JAN 13, 2017 Tap at the source. Pours hazy pale orange yellow, white head. Aroma is dank hops, catty, mango, pineapple, tropical fruits. Flavor is really green, unripe mango, kinda bitter piney grapefruit rind, orange rind, semi dank. Again from bellwoods, too green for my taste. Just lots of unripe fruit. Not a fan, too bitter. jamestulloch (4276) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 25, 2016
Keg at the brewery. Hazy golden body with a medium white head. Good lacing. Aroma of orange, pineapple and mango. Flavour of pineapple and grass. Medium body with an oily texture. Very easy to drink for the ABV. Bellwoods certainly know how to get the best out of hops. Kauge (2064) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUN 21, 2016
Bottle from the source. Not more than 2 weeks old. Pours clear golden with small off-white head. Aroma of oniony hops, Sorachi Ace perhaps, the dill, onion and sour cream potato chips I usually get with SA... and strawberry. Yet I still kinda like it. Tastes bitter, resiny, somewhat grainy, and acidic. Dry grainy finish. I like it.

Bottle. Thanks, Kauge. Modest white head. Sticky froth. Nice juiciness, slight spiciness, oranges and other citrusses in the aroma. Very juicy, quite spicy, fruity beginning. Lots of tangerines and oranges in the middle. Crisp. Nice tingeling on tongue. Fruity and refreshing juicy finish. Hints of pineapples. Quite nice brew. Marduk (8219) - Reval, ESTONIA - JUN 19, 2016
500ml bottle (thanks Kauge). Clear golden color. Medium size, thick white head, stays. Rubber, fruity, citrus, acidic in aroma. Sweet, fruity, citrus in taste. Sweet, fruity and pine needles in aftertaste. Alcohol is present. Medium bitterness. Solid brew. FatPhil (16930) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUN 14, 2016
500ml bottle - thanks Kauge!suurjuust (3685) - ESTONIA - JUN 14, 2016
Eww, those onions have started to go soft and rot - yucky hop mess. Gold, small head. Full palate, sweetish. Slightly vanillaey retronasals. Hop mess still in the taste, but less messy. Resiny bitterness. Boosty vapours left in your mouth. Hops in the finish last for ever, quite a tingle. Improves after the nasty aroma.
Bottle shared by Kauge. Clear golden beer, small white head. Nose is sweet, hoppy, fruity notes and an unfortunate helping of boiled onions. Flavor is hoppy, citrus, coconut, strawberry. Finishes with grapefruit bitterness, herbal notes. Would probably rate it lower, but it’s freshness is really nice. martjoobolut (4947) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUN 14, 2016
