3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
2012-04-01. Crisp orange amber body, small off white head. Nice hoppy aroma is subtle, light floral character. Flavour is similar, light bitterness, grass, straw, light floral character carries through to the aftertaste. Average palate. Crisp very drinkable. The hop character while interesting is not entirely to my own tastes, so it will be interesting to see if they continue to tweak this. On tap at Bellwoods, Toronto

[4363-20120401] Tap. Mild evergreen citrus hops aroma. Clear, bright orange body with a medium-lasting creamy off-white head. Bitter grainy evergreen needles continues in the flavour with a hint of buttery orange pip. Medium body is fairly bitter. Great balance of hops and bitterness, very drinkable. (7/3/7/4/15+) 3.6

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Had April 2012 but the rating got lumped together with other one. This pale ale is anything but common. It has a bit of a straw-like barnyard aroma. Itís got an astringent bitter to it that has almost a Gin-like quality. Itís similar almost to their saison, but doesnít come on as strong. Itís an interesting pale ale, but I wouldnít call it common. Has almost a soda water-like carbonation level. On tap at Bellwoodís Brewery.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draught at the brewpub, May 7, 2012. Pours a deep golden-orange with a small diminishing frothy white head. Aromaís a bit odd for a Pale Ale, itís a bit vegetal along with very light hops and lightly toasted caramel malt. Flavour is grainy with some hops in the finish. Average bodied. Quite mild for a Pale Ale, not great, just good.
