Delicious funky saison, apricot, lemon tart, white wine, dry finish. Great balance, one of my favorite brew from Bellwoods and that says a lot :)

500 ml bottle from the brewery. Labelled Batch 4, bottled on March 5, 2014. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with lots of bubbly white head. Smells of citrus, funk, very fresh. Taste is farmhouse funk, tart, citrus, yeasty. Really good. I think I am getting a bit of wine barrel in the finish. Good brew.

Top brewery this one. Lovely Saison with a ton of complexity - most of which fails me from memory now. Still I remember being impressed, as I have been for all their beers.

Bottle from the brewery -bottled May 26, 2014 - Batch 5. Very pale hazy gold with a one finger white head. Nose has lots of funky Brett with moderate wine and wood notes and a light fruitiness in the background. Light pear sweetness to start with a dry wine and cherry tartness in the middle. Light peppery splice in the finish. Medium light mouth with active carbonation. Nice and well balanced and the tartness is well controlled.

Bottle, this taste just like a Chardonnay, i really didnt get much other then that. The Brett didnt really come through but it was drinkable. It was more winey then i would liked. Worth a taste

Hazy golden color, light white head. Very dry beautiful fruity nose with brett and oak. Very delicate. Excellent mouth feel, mildly tart, very lightly, but balanced with significant amount of hops with oak and a touch of vanilla. what is really amazing is how integrated the beer is. Flawless execution. Amazing depth. Every sip from start to finish is slightly different. Light oak funky brett finish. Excellent.

Pours a cloudy canola with a generous champagne style cap. The nose on this brew is some serious funk. Pop the cap off this bottle & George Clinton will be jealous. A beautiful sipping saison that gives me crisp white wine, tart apple cider, fresh goose berries & lemon zest on the tongue. This is a serious brew by maybe the most serious brewery in Toronto. So serious its got me driving across the city on a sunny Saturday morning for more.
