Bottled (Batch 9) at Ottawa gathering. Hazy pale golden, small head. Tart funky nose with hay and lemon. Bone dry with light-medium body crisp, spritzy mouthfeel. Crisp, minerally and lightly bready. Notes of black currant. Mid bitter finish. Very elegant. fiulijn (21022) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 9, 2016
Batch #10, 6.5% ABVmcberko (18572) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 13, 2014
Compared to the batch #9, it’s smoother, more lemony, more winey, lighter and more floral, even cleaner. Better than the #9
Batch #9, 6.5% ABV
Cloudy blond color. Dry beer, but smooth, with moderate Brett character, funk, some citrus peel, a bit too astringent, maybe dirty.
500mL bottle, sent from wilco (thanks a lot, Mike), pours a cloudy pale orangey yellow with a medium white head. Aroma brings out Belgian yeast, very light funk, and citrus. Flavour is quite complex, bringing out traditional farmhouse yeast notes, some brett funk, citrus zest, and even a bit of salt. Extremely refreshing, yeasty and well-balanced. A brett saison that can compete with the best of them. Wonderful. Oakes (18522) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 13, 2014
A little footy/yeasty, has a nice thick head though. Sweet, a bit fruity but with sticky pale malts. Maybe a touch of spice. The brett does not seem to have kicked in yet.

Bottle - Lemon grass, lime and some sweet yeast. Cloudy yellow and a rich head. Sour, oaky, lemon, coriander effervescent and dry. Another nice beer from what is becoming my favourite Canadian brewery. djd07 (15341) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAR 7, 2017
Batch 9 at Ratebeer Best. Pours a cloudy yellow with medium white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is strong brett, oak, funk. Medium body, citrus, brett, oak, light dry finish, very good. DSG (15119) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - FEB 21, 2017
[1/28/17] Bottle/Draught at RateBeer Best festival in Santa Rosa. Cloudy yellow. Funky, fruity, earth, juicy, tart, slightly spicy. Lubiere (14133) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - APR 12, 2014
A hazed blonde saison with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with pineapple, Brett, lemon, very nice. In mouth, a smooth sour puckering malt with light acetic notes, Brett, very nice and fruity yet complex. On tap at brewery. Sammy (12592) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 3, 2013
UPDATED: JUL 10, 2015 Recent bottle from the retail store. Somewhat of a foamer with a deep yellow body and lots of bubbles. Aggressive carbonation, above average mouthfeel. Somewhat funk and in the style. Good farmhouse, good drinkability. Not getting much of the barreling impact, but its nice.batch 8 is a paradigm shift. Funk base with lemony tart character. I up the rating but it should be a new rating.
