Balanced brett, belgian yeast and alcohol on the nose. Very hazy with chunks of yeast floating around in the bottle, thick head that stays around for a while. Flavor starts off tart, belgian yeast becomes apparent in the middle and bread flavors come through in the finish. Alcohol comes through a bit too as this warms. Remains quite refreshing. Heavily carbonated and medium bodied.

500ml bottle (thx, Chris S.!). Brett Saison, vintage 2017, 6.2% ABV, bottle conditioned. Pours a slightly hazy pale golden with a white head. Aroma is earthy and bretts. Taste is similar, very crispy with some flowery notes. Quite good stuff.

HippyHop (654) - Quebec, CANADA - MAY 27, 2017
Holy fuck this stuff is a Brett bomb. Funk funk and more funk on the nose. Leather and barnyard/horseblanket, doughy saison yeast, lemon, pepper. Weirdly there's a bit of water behind all that brett funk. Still delicious, but a little intense to be sessionable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Light head, draft from Stillwell in Halifax. Light carbonation. Pretty nice offering.

Bottle @ 5.4%. Thanks to Pat for this. Appearance is cloudy yellow with frothy white head. Aroma is grass, lemon, and clove. Taste is grass, and lemon, with a hint of pepper and a dry crisp finish. Very Classic indeed, this is really on point with the style.

Bottle from the brewery. 5.4% alc./vol.Pours a hazy straw colour with two fingers of white head. Aromas of oranges, bananas, and a whiff of Belgian yeast. Citrusy taste with notes of Belgian yeast and peppery spiciness on the finish. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Excellent saison.

SlovakSniper (5561) - Candiac, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 18, 2016

jamestulloch (4053) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 25, 2016
Keg at the brewery. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Faint lacing. Aroma of dried apricot, white pepper and white bread. Flavour of lemon zest, underripe peach and sparkling water. Thin to medium body with a spritzy mouthfeel. Lively fizz. Earthy and crisp.

crossovert (12615) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 1, 2016
Draft. Its a pretty basic imperial style saison, some phenolic notes, bit of a sweet malt note.

Hidden_Pooch (518) - Stratford, Prince Edward Island, CANADA - APR 24, 2016
Pours a hazy gold colour. Aroma is of lemongrass and spices. Tastes of lemongrass, spice, and cereal. Has a medium body with a light tartness that makes it very drinkable. Found it very mild tasting, but great flavour.
