COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our newest pale ale to join the pack, Ghost Orchid is brewed with an expressive, new-to-us strain of yeast, a simple pale malt bill with a generous dose of oats (similar to Jutsu), and a massive dry hop of Nelson Sauvin & Simcoe. Light in body and heavy on the haze factor. This aromatic and delicious beer is all about low bitterness and huge flavour, with notes of mandarin orange, white grape, and pine.

2017/03/04 - Pours a clear, bright gold colour with a soapy white head that quickly reduce and leaves ample lacing. Aroma is, big mango and tropical fruits, light citrus, green grapes and pine. Taste is cracker malt, vinous notes, mangos, pine and herbal hops. Mouthfeel is medium, with dull carbonation and a dry, moderately bitter finish. Nice tropical notes and highly sessionable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Snagged a few 500 mls at the Oz shop, outstandingly nice, huge aroma on this one with not only citrus, herbs and pine but also tropical fruits. Typical of BW pales it’s very bitter and dry with herbal resinous flavors, some shades of pale-fruity complexity. Did enjoy

Nice IPA. Found the aroma to be confusing and not typical of an IPA or the usual hop blast, more tropical and sweet. The rest of the beer is mor eon point for and IPA, thin body but deep rich piny hop bite and full hop flavours make it all work. Its different and recognizable as an IPA which is cool.

UPDATED: MAY 12, 2017 A real nice citrus-forward pale ale. Mango and pineapple, mostly, wityh an intoxicating aroma.

Bottle marked Dec 20th of 2016. It’s taken a couple of months to get to this one. Pours hazy golden with a smattering of white head. Nice hoppy nose of juicy fruits and a little resin. Flavour is a solid hoppy brew of a fairly standard malt base with lots of juiciness, some balanced bitterness, resin, and a little grass. Smooth finish. Well within the Bellwoods norm, as Sammy says below, but overall a nice beer.

Really nice hazy bright peach color with off-white head. Aroma has slightly tart white grapes and fruity yeast notes. Taste starts also just a smidge tart with grape notes, continues with other fruity flavors, finishes with herbal bitterness. Medium body, well carbonated. Overall it’s quite good, juicy and "green".

Tap at the source. Pours pale yellow, barely noticeable white head. Aroma is pine, white grape, persimmon, sweet sugar, grapefruit. Flavor is pine, white grape, grapefruit, fairly bitter, but pleasant.

Bottle from bottle shop. Deep cloudy golden yellow with thin white head. Smells strongly of pineapple and lemon. Bitterness upfront with lemon and pineapple middle, and lingering dry grassy finish. Not normally a huge pale ale fan, but the guy at the bottle shop talked me into buying this, talking about how it tastes like those pineapple candies your grandma used to have when you were a kid. Don’t regret this purchase at all. Tasty.

Finish is very dry, hop bitterness is present, smells kinda like pineapple, pours cloudy and beige. A bit of a herbal finish, very carbonated. Pretty nice.
