mcberko (19193) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 24, 2017
500mL bottle, sent from wilco (thanks a lot, Mike), pours a jet black with a medium tan head. Aroma is intense, with lots of deep roasted malt, burnt cocoa, dark earthy coffee, and a touch of coconut. Flavour follows accordingly, with heaps of dark roasted malt, burnt cocoa, caramelized sugar, and earthy coffee. Roasted and very bitter, but appropriately so. Excellent.

Bottle from the Hafis location. Pours a very deep dark colour with a dark brown head. Big aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, leather, some cherry notes. Extremely smooth stout. Tastes of semisweet chocolate chips, smooth espresso, lingering roasted bitterness. Tasty.

Tasting at Slack
Black color. The coffee adds to the roasty and ashy character, but it has a good body; the coconut is not evident. Not very subtle or balanced, a good Stout though.

Carbonatation moyenne-faible, corps moyen-dense.

sudomorph (1192) - Barrie, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 8, 2017
500ml bottle from brewery. Pours nearly black with a half finger of mocha head. Aroma has big, roast notes with dark and milk chocolate, mild coconut, and coffee. Taste is balanced with solid notes of coffee, dark chocolate, mild coconut, caramel, faint dark fruits, and a long, drawn out ending. Medium-full body with a medium carbonation. Mildly syrupy in the mouth with a fuller mouth feel and a dry ending. Overall a really nice, well balanced coffee stout.

3.7
Johnsense (1775) - - OCT 7, 2017
Deep cola brown pour, thumb sized tan head, small specks of lace, small ring. Aroma is coffee, light cola, cocoa powder, dark malts. Fairly sweet with a stronger coffee note, cocoa, very mild coconut if any, sweet malt, lighter coffee bitterness in the finish. Medium to thicker body.

Listigovers (1343) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 7, 2017
Black pour with a nice brown head. Tastes like dark chocolate with a coffee bitterness in the aftertaste, got a nice bit of malty roast, smells chocolatey, good stuff.
