500ml bottle at Town. Dark brown with a foamy beige head. Flavors are bread, caramel, molasses vanilla, dark chocolate and alcohol with fruity and nutty notes. Medium to full body, soft to moderate carbonation, smooth texture. cattaneopapa (428) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 24, 2017
500ml bottle from the brewery. Pours an opaque black colour with two finger of tanned head that reduced into a thin film that lingers. Aromas of coffee, dark chocolate, and a hint of grapefruit. Taste is sweet, malty and roasted. Notes of chocolate, coffee, and toffee. Creamy mouthfeel. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Excellent brew. One of the best Baltic Porters I’ve ever had. I’m very impressed. beerplace (2146) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 17, 2017
500ml bottle (thx, Nick M.!) at Ilya’s. Pours an almost black with a dark beige head. Aroma is chocolate and roasted malt, very nice. Taste is similar, with dark fruits notes. Very pleasant. ciocanelu (3000) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - DEC 19, 2016
Almost black color, brown head. Aroma has roasted malt and some dark fruit notes. Taste starts malty, just a hint of sweetness but then the dark, really roasted malts kick in with slightly burnt/ashy flavors and associated bitterness. Medium to full bodied, quite smooth carbonation. Overall it’s a quite good Baltic Porter with a very nice mouthfeel.

Bottle (500 ml). Split 2-ways with Simon B. Dark reddish brown with a medium beige head, low retention, leaving little lacing. Aroma is super fruity with chocolate, roasted malts, hints of vanilla and caramel/molasses. Taste is moderately sweet and super fruity (dark fruits & berries) with chocolate, caramel/molasses, roasted malts, vanilla and hints of liquorice. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Somewhat fluffy but also thin mouthfeel. Fruity and chocolate finish. It lacks a bit of depth for a Baltic Porter. Super fruity, could be a bit more balanced. Not bad at all, but subpar for Bellwoods and disappointing considering some of the other ratings. Anyway it’s a good fruit forward moderately sweet Baltic Porter. Deep brown with a light tan head. Aroma is chocolate, dark fruits, caramel. Medium-full bodied, creamy mouthfeel, well balanced palate with a lightly sweet finish. Taste is chocolate, dates, plum, cocoa, fig. Stoned99 (1684) - St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 25, 2016
500ml bottle bought at brewery by my brother. Thanks Guillaume. Aroma: roasted malt, chocolate, nutty, but at the same time there is to something not right in this aroma. Not enough strong lacking something like alcohol, some boozy notes. App: pitch dark with big brown head and some little lacing. Taste and palate: first thing I noticed is this feels watery.. This is smooth but watery. What a shame. Med body, med sweetness, really subtle bitter finish. Overall: it?s sad because not knowing ltm their porter baltique this could probably be something I enjoy a lot but I?ve been too used to drinking that ltm pb so this feels quite short. Maybe they should make a pimp version of it something much more stronger in abv? radiomgb (2686) - Peterborough, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 21, 2016
650ml bottle. Near black in colour with a thin but lasting tan head, light lacing. The aroma is of chocolate, liquorice, dark fruits, some sugar. The flavour is lightly sweet, some roast at the end, chocolate, molasses, dark malts. Sweet mouthfeel, medium body, medium carbonation. Finishes long, roasty, sweet. An interesting beer. Roasty at times, sweet at times. Seems bigger then 7%. punkska101 (2166) - Chambly, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 12, 2016
Bottle thx Alex A: lightly roasty, chocolate, light plum App: black small beige head some lacing. T/p: med to full body with medium long bitter finish. Soft to med carbonation. O: it lacks a bit of malt complexity but still remains highly drinkable. I really dig the light roastiness.
