Enjoyed on tap at Bellwoods Brewery in Toronto, ON. Appearance looks like raspberry candy elixir. Aroma of sour cherries, smells nice and sweet. Taste is nice, light dry cherries, finishes sour, overall nice for the style. Would have again.

@ Volo Aroma: medium plus intensity. Blend of sourness and smoke. Hinted gooseberry on top.
Top: small white and lasting. Some lace shown.
Base: hazy gold.
Palate and Body medium bodied with thinner walls. Delicate carbonation , average finish.
Taste: very nice play of fruit tartness (gooseberry) with smoked malts. Hinted rhubarb as well. ery nice.

A hazed light yellowish blonde with a thin white head. In aroma, a smooth lactic malt with light fruity notes, decent. In mouth, a smooth creamy fruity malt with lactic acid and peated malt, refreshing.

On cask at Volo. Very hazy pale gold with a white two finger head, lacing too. Smells of tast rhubarb, table cream and cereal grain, no alcohol. Taste follows and there is definite iodine/smoke tang as well - lovely balance. Thickish, creamy, chewy, airy but not all that carbonated, light smokey acidity in the finish. Really good!!!

[4651-20120812] Tap. Cherry lemon zest yeast aroma. Hazy, white yellow body with a very quick foamy white head. Lemon sourdough flavour. Medium body. Tasty, once I figured it out. (6/3-/8/3/14) 3.4

Cloudy blonde-pale color, with a white head, wet wheaty, oat, pale faint smoked malt nose, with some lactic yeastines, zesty, sour lemon juice accents, with some doughy, mild funky, faint tart rhubarb fruity notes in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a nice sour lactic, yeasty, funky, zesty lemony, light wheat, smoked malt, somkey bacon character, with an ashen, doughy, tart, acidic citrusy flavour, leading towards a wheat maltiness, lactic yogurt-ish, citrus lemon juice sourness finish.

Draught at the brewpub
Cloudy pale blond color without head. Very unusual, yet interesting aroma, with bread and light smoke, light lactic acid too, bread dough. The mouthfeel is dry, but not weak; there are notes of bread, lactic acid, light smoke; the acidity is moderate, less than traditional Berliner Weisse. The final is a bit astringent; there is a lemony touch; but that bread feeling that sticks on the teeth is lovely.

Draught at the brewpub. Pours a murky pale yellow with a large semi-lasting fluffy white head. Some lacing on the glass. Nice aroma of lemons, smoke, bready malt and funky yeast -- sour, smokey and funky, an interesting combo. Flavour’s mainly sour lemon along with some funky yeast -- not getting any smoke in the flavour though. Average bodied. Easy to drink and refreshing, I liked it. -- Rated via Beer Buddy.

On tap at Volo. Pours a cloudy pale straw yellow with small white head. Aroma is wheat, light citrus and sort of a dark sensation. Flavour is smoked but not smoky with wheat and moderately sour citrus notes. Fine carbonation. Interesting.

Hazy gold. Aroma is funky with something I am not that familiar with - is that lactic people speak of? Smoke for me was quite understated and hard to pick out. Taste is sour and tart in all the right ways and finished with bitterness. The smoke I get is on the finish. Interesting beer and perfect for the weather on the patio.
