Bottle: Poured a light hazy golden hay color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of fruity hops with light bitterness notes is quite pleasing. Taste is a good mix of fruity hops with nice clean ester and some light bitter aftertaste. Malt is quiet present but also well balanced as to not overshadow the hops profile. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Well brewed though not the most expressive hops variety. JoeMcPhee (9426) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 18, 2012
Bright straw-golden colour. Thick white head. The nose is loaded with bright pine and grapefruit. A lot of bitterness but balanced by the lean pale malt. A little bit of tropical fruit on the back, but it's subtle. Lovely brew.

Yellow/gold pour. A thumbs worth of thick pillowy head. Lighter aroma, sticky hops, slight coconut (!) and grass. Don’t go looking for pine and grapefruit here - Melon, grass, slight lemon rind, Caramel sweetness in back. Oily mouthfeel, which I quite liked. Not my favorite hop but with a few tweaks this could be a sleeper. solidfunk (8951) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - NOV 5, 2012
Smells fruity, like citrusand apples. Full taste. Pours orange amber with a little head and some lacing. Cool hops showcase. Not too bitter- just bitter enough. Smells a little malty as well. Bottle from brewpub. rob6239 (677) - Ontario, CANADA - NOV 3, 2012
Pours lighter gold than I’d expected from bottle. Frothy bright white head. Aroma is mellow but slightly fruity , perhaps a little flowery. Taste is smooth with very little bitterness, some soapiness from the hops. A decent pale ale.

Hazy deep blond color, creamy head. Very nice aroma, fresh hops, a bit grassy. Dry and smooth mouthfeel; light wheat flavor, light spiciness from the yeast; the hop provides a very light fruity touch; the bitterness is strong, too aggressive in the final indeed.
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear dirty orange with a thick white head. Aroma of citrus, piney hops, caramel malt. Flavor of wood, citrus hops, grassy hops, bitter hops, peppery spices, and malt in the finish. Excellent single hop IPA.

650ml bottle from the latest retail sale. A pretty well-balanced beer from guys that are brewing numerous varieties at once. Nice pale golden hue and satisfying mouthfeel...you will feel content while drinking it. I get the fruitiness from the Calypso...couldn’t pick up the ’defining’ pear though...but it could be me. A solid recommendation...these guys are doing good work! AGAquino (667) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 21, 2012
On tap at the brewery. Slighty herbal, nicely hopped, very drinkable. Balanced with a nice lingering aftertaste. Sammy (12201) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 20, 2012
Very pleasant fresh pale ale. Deep yellow . So-so aroma, I would like to get more hop in the smell. Above average mouthfeel. A nice beer and hits the style.
