Hazy deep blond color, creamy head. Very nice aroma, fresh hops, a bit grassy. Dry and smooth mouthfeel; light wheat flavor, light spiciness from the yeast; the hop provides a very light fruity touch; the bitterness is strong, too aggressive in the final indeed.
Very pleasant fresh pale ale. Deep yellow . So-so aroma, I would like to get more hop in the smell. Above average mouthfeel. A nice beer and hits the style. jercraigs (11071) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 6, 2012
2012-11-20. Lightly hazy dark yellow body, small off-white head and lace. 3+ Pleasant hoppy aroma, mild grassy hops, Light lemon notes. 7+ Flavour is fairly bitter, dryish finish, mild lemon quality, grassy touches. Hop profile is a bit muddled but nice. Average bodied palate. 3+ Enjoyable. Had a bottle later in the week and it was essentially the same. Bright straw-golden colour. Thick white head. The nose is loaded with bright pine and grapefruit. A lot of bitterness but balanced by the lean pale malt. A little bit of tropical fruit on the back, but it's subtle. Lovely brew.

Smells fruity, like citrusand apples. Full taste. Pours orange amber with a little head and some lacing. Cool hops showcase. Not too bitter- just bitter enough. Smells a little malty as well. Bottle from brewpub. blankboy (7881) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 17, 2012
Draught at the brewpub. Nov. 20. Pours a cloudy golden-orange with a small frothy white head. Some lacing. Mild aroma of tropical fruit, canned peas, hops and pale malt. Flavour has a good amount of hops, a bit spicy, fruity, a touch resiny, along with some grain and a hint of alcohol. Dry, bitter finish. Medium bodied. Pretty good, I didn’t love it but I did like it. Radek Kliber (7501) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - NOV 25, 2012

Aroma: medium potency of Calypso hop character. Clean , straight approach with clean good golden malt base. Fresh floral feel. 8-.
Look: fine haze on golden base with lighter white top.
Taste/palate: well rounded hop profile exceptionally well presented. Soft texture below with welcoming golden malts. Smart brewing. Knowledge of play between sugars and hops is apparent. Splendid !
November 20, 2012 - on draught at the brewpub. Slightly hazy gold with an average frothy tightly foamy off-white head. Smells great - juicy, light resin, plenty of citrus/citrus zest character. Taste is way more floral than anything, an odd iron bite to the malt, surprisingly very grainy - plenty of cereal, it actually detracts from the bitterness a fair bit: not much alcohol, but it’s detectable. Solid body, a bit chewy and astringent, good airy carbonation, a decently long eventually palate-coating moderately grapefruit pith bitter finish. I must say I liked it less as it warmed up, which was odd. Boutip (6628) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 22, 2012
Bottle: Poured a light hazy golden hay color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of fruity hops with light bitterness notes is quite pleasing. Taste is a good mix of fruity hops with nice clean ester and some light bitter aftertaste. Malt is quiet present but also well balanced as to not overshadow the hops profile. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Well brewed though not the most expressive hops variety.
