Draft - Leafy hops and pine. Cloudy gold with a thin head. Tastes just like it smells. Very clean and a great showcase to the hop.

A hazed blonde ale with a thin white head. In aroma, nice pungent catty hops, citrus, complex and enticing. In mouth, a nice smooth grassy malt with light catty hops, herbal and complex, well made.

Bottle from the brewery, bottled this very month. A controlled subdued creamy orange citrus. Very drinkable and refreshing, but I would like more bold hop taste featuring everything the hop can give me. I guess that’s why they call it a pale.

2013-04-06. Bright orange body small white head. 3+ Wow! lovely citrus and tropical fruit hops in the aroma, very light greenery. Similar hop flavour, pleasant citrus and tropical fruit melange, hints at pineapple, moderate bitterness throughout. Quite different from other Galaxy based beers I have had if I recall correctly 8+ Average bodied palate is lighter than my usual preference but suits it and adds drinkability. Very nice. 500 ml bottle. Pale straw-gold colour. A creamy white head. The aroma is great. Fresh and hoppy with a bright fruity/spicy aroma over a very lean pale malt base. Passionfruit and tangerine citrus. The beer is crisp and crackery with a little bit of zestiness as well. Peppery and spicy with a clean lingering bitterness. The balance is great with a refreshing dryness. The fruit and citrus notes that I read about this hop having are really highlighted here. Another damn fine beer in this series.

[5189-20130406] Tap. Light sweaty floral yeast and gym bag aroma. Slightly hazy, light brown orange body with a quick foamy white head. More sweaty yeast in the flavour. Bitter medium body. Good. (6/3/7+/4/14) 3.4

This one is excellent. Maybe my favorite from the series so far, even though I probably said that with the Nelson Sauvin. Pours cloudy golden orange. Aroma of tangerine, hay, bitter grass and mango. Finishes with medium bitterness. Medium consistency with versatile palate. Tap at brewpub.

Bottle [500ml]. Pours a cloudy, bubbly yellow-gold with an average size lasting frothy white head. Some lacing on the glass. Really nice hoppy aroma -- spicy, resiny, hempy and more -- along with citrus and tropical fruit. Flavour is just as good, also hoppy and fruity, with a nice bitter finish. Average to medium bodied. One of my favourite of the Monogamy series and just a joy to drink. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle: Poured a hazy bright golden color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of fruity and citrusy hops is quite nice with some floral undertones. Taste is also dominated by fruity hoppy notes with some citrus notes with light dry caramel malt backbone with not much residual sugar. Body is full with good carbonation. Love the freshness and the fruity notes of the Galaxy hops and the balanced level of bitterness.

Bottle (500 ml). 4 month old. Thanks John! Hazy golden/orange with a small white head and good lacing. Aroma is of galaxy hops, tropical fruits, malt, grassy notes and light pine. Taste is a bummer here (my tasting buddies don’t agree with me on this) but it was light and probably just a shadow of is former self... light tropical fruits, malt, slight sweetness, grassy notes and light pine. Thin to medium body. Low carbonation. Oily mouthfeel. It’s not a bad beer, there’s no off-taste and the aroma is still quite good.
