500ml bottle. Hazy golden in colour with a long lasting large white head, good lacing. The aroma is tropical, light spice, fruity and herbal. The flavour is quite hoppy upfront, lots of tropical fruits, pale malts, some pepper. Bitter mouthfeel, medium body, moderate carbonation. Finishes long, hoppy and bitter. A fantastic and refreshing pale ale, excellent fruit hop bitterness. JoeMcPhee (9550) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - APR 20, 2013
500 ml bottle. Pale straw-gold colour. A creamy white head. The aroma is great. Fresh and hoppy with a bright fruity/spicy aroma over a very lean pale malt base. Passionfruit and tangerine citrus. The beer is crisp and crackery with a little bit of zestiness as well. Peppery and spicy with a clean lingering bitterness. The balance is great with a refreshing dryness. The fruit and citrus notes that I read about this hop having are really highlighted here. Another damn fine beer in this series. robinvboyer (4754) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - APR 30, 2013
Impressive! Big juicy sweetorange aroma, fresh and green. But more f a sweet orange aroma than. Sharp citrus hop. Pretty impressive stuff, refreshing and an absolute joy to drink. Glouglouburp (6103) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 30, 2013
In short: An aromatic fruity orange IPA bursting with freshness. Excellent.neongolden (1828) - Linköping, Sweden/Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 4, 2013
How: Bottle 500ml, consumed fresh soon after purchase, bottle forwarded to me by blankboy, thanks a lot Paul.
The look: Partly cloudy shinning orange body topped by a medium white head leaving lots of lacings on the glass.
In long: Highly aromatic nose loaded with all kinds of fruits (peaches, apricots, pineapples, passion fruits, more…) along with some perfumy floral/piney notes. Nice fragrance here. In mouth the beer feels doughy yet slender, pleasant bread dough flavor, low sweetness. Loads of fruity flavors that include but is not limited to the usually citrus fruits. These Galaxy hops express a nice exotic fruits character. One aspect I particularly like is the overall great freshness quality in its fruity flavors and bready cereals. Another winner for the Canadian Hill Farmstead. And I hate when someone is feeling sad and I recommend an excellent beer like this one and instead of thanking me this person says my framed Beerotherapist diploma is made-up bullshit.
(500ml bottle from brewery, nice and fresh) Pours a slightly hazy orange-gold with a small white bubbly head, light lace. Big, pungent Galaxy aroma of mixed fruit; passion fruit, pineapple, orange and more. Also a little leafy/flowery/pine character, little bit of fresh bread. On the palate, nice fruity punch from the hops, more slightly bready/sweet malt, hop bitterness is restrained but noticeable towards the finish. Slightly grainy in finish, a little earth, candied orange lingers on the tongue as it warms. Mouthfeel light-medium, carb medium. Love the complex tropical fruity characters from this hop, it’s a great candidate for a single hop beer and this is a flavourful and refreshing APA that results.

2013-04-06. Bright orange body small white head. 3+ Wow! lovely citrus and tropical fruit hops in the aroma, very light greenery. Similar hop flavour, pleasant citrus and tropical fruit melange, hints at pineapple, moderate bitterness throughout. Quite different from other Galaxy based beers I have had if I recall correctly 8+ Average bodied palate is lighter than my usual preference but suits it and adds drinkability. Very nice. This one is excellent. Maybe my favorite from the series so far, even though I probably said that with the Nelson Sauvin. Pours cloudy golden orange. Aroma of tangerine, hay, bitter grass and mango. Finishes with medium bitterness. Medium consistency with versatile palate. Tap at brewpub. hangunder (305) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 16, 2013
Peach, grape, tropical fruit and a hint of onion. Smells super juicy. Hazy yellow, with a persistant white head. Interesting hop characteristic in the taste, quite unique -- not much upfront, with the grapey flavors coming through in the middle as well as a bit of the onion, then a very dry finish with bitterness lingering on the tongue. Average carbonation and light bodied. This hop really has a kick. Interesting beer. blankboy (7808) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 18, 2013
Bottle [500ml]. Pours a cloudy, bubbly yellow-gold with an average size lasting frothy white head. Some lacing on the glass. Really nice hoppy aroma -- spicy, resiny, hempy and more -- along with citrus and tropical fruit. Flavour is just as good, also hoppy and fruity, with a nice bitter finish. Average to medium bodied. One of my favourite of the Monogamy series and just a joy to drink.

Bottle: Poured a hazy bright golden color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of fruity and citrusy hops is quite nice with some floral undertones. Taste is also dominated by fruity hoppy notes with some citrus notes with light dry caramel malt backbone with not much residual sugar. Body is full with good carbonation. Love the freshness and the fruity notes of the Galaxy hops and the balanced level of bitterness.
