Bottle from Bellwoods - very pale golden pour with a thick white head. There is a very bright juicy citrusy hoppy aroma. Softly sweet malt with a little bit of wheaty spiciness. Mango and pine along with a touch of white pepper. Lean but well balance. Lovely pale ale - quaffable. cfrancis (3445) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 12, 2013
Thanks to jercraigs for this. Pours cloudy straw yellow with a moderate white top. Aroma is grass and pine hop flavouring. Great nose. Taste is a great balance of pine hops and sweetness and grass from the malt. kevinsenn (2211) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 27, 2015
Bottle from brewery. Delicious orange aroma. Delicious delicate malty taste with a fruity bitter hoppy finish. Awesome. HogTownHarry (6833) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - MAY 25, 2013
On draught at bar Hop. Hazy light orange, decent off-white frothy head. Smells.... wow; catnip and pee. Beautiful. Taste follows, but way less pungent, can actually taste the light grain; not much alcohol. Light chewy mouthfeel, slightly astringent, modestly carbonated, surprisingly quick finish. Immensely sessionable and enjoyable and right in my wheelhouse. ncube (116) - - FEB 13, 2015
Great hop aroma right out of the bottle. Yellow colour, white head. Just enough bready backbone to hold up the hops and present them well. Very well done for what they are trying to do.

Pine, hint of onion in the aroma. Very hazy yellow, with long lasting head. Taste is a bit surprising given the nose, the oniony flavors really come through here upfront, a bit of sweet malt and a bit of booze and a very dry finish with some mild hop bitterness. Not much in the way of tropical fruits here. A bit harsher and less refreshing than the other monogamys coming out of Bellwoods, but still quite interesting. Medium carbonation and light body. mathieuc (3990) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 4, 2016
Bottle from dabeerbuddah @ BA, thanks S.! Pours a what would be fairly clear golden but it is loaded with floating particles. On top sits a somewhat thin white head that leaves good lacing. Nose is of tropical fruits and sugar. Some resin as well. Taste is of juicy fruits as well and moderately bitter with a good malt backbone. Body is light to medium and carbonation a touch over ’medium’. Overall a really enjoyable neo pale ale, I would certainly pick it up again if I could! Nice use of the Simcoe! blankboy (7689) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 22, 2013
Bottle [500ml]. Pours a cloudy dark yellow, quite bubbly, and with an average size long lasting frothy off-white head. Minimal lacing on the glass. Nice hoppy aroma, herbal, piney and fruity -- simple but very pleasant. Flavour follows the aroma and is just as good, nice and hoppy, along with citrus fruit, pale malt and an average dry bitter finish. Medium bodied. Very good, I really enjoyed it, I went through the bottle very quickly.

650 ml bottle from brewery. Pours a cloudy golden orange with decent-sized, lasting white head that leaves nice lace. Aroma is nice assertive piney and citrusy hops with some underlying sweet malt. Flavour is piney, grapefruity hops with underlying caramelly grainy malt. Average-lively, but fine carbonation. Another winner from this Monogamy series. sudomorph (1164) - Barrie, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 7, 2015
Draft at Bellwoods. Pours a nearly clear golden yellow with a one finger, white head that stick. Aroma has soft notes of citrus, pine, resin, bread, and grass. Taste is balanced. Bready biscuit with some herbal grass, citrus, pine, resin, and a slight hop spice. Medium body and carbonation. Mildly resiny in the mouth with a dry finish. Overall a really nice, easy drinking beer. Soft resin, pine, and citrus notes over top of a nice bready/biscuit/grass backbone.
