A golden ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, light catty and sulfur notes. In mouth, a good crisp biscuit malt with pungent grassy floral hops, light sulfur and funk, very nice.

Marketing itself as pungent is correct. Citra smell (cat p) and taste. Drinkable on a long summer day, citrusy, Worth a try but ony average for the style. Dark yellow body with some retained head. Medium mouthfeel, slightly undercarbonated. Thanks for getting a bottle, Doug.

UPDATED: SEP 2, 2012 2012-08-23. More citrusy again and less leafy green hop character. Lovely stuff. On tap at Bellwoods, Toronto

2012-08-12. Crisp golden orange body, beige head. 3+ Lovely hoppy aroma, lemony citrus, whispers of tangerine. 7+ Flavour is similarly quite hoppy, fruity citrusy notes of sweet lemon, tangerine, (blood orange?) Modest bitterness throughout. I had a sampler and then a glass after that, and the glass had a much greener and grassier hop profile than in the sample, which I did not entirely appreciate as it lessened the intensity of the citrus. 7+ Smooth average to light bodied palate is softly carbonated and a touch light but the leanness allows the hops to shine. Quite good, supremely drinkable. A great beer regardless. Tasty. On tap at Bellwoods, Toronto

Pale golden pour with a touch of haze along with some light spicy/piny hoppiness. A little bit of tropical grapefruit and citrus with some nice bright hoppiness. Clean and refreshing. Pretty damn solid APA.

[4649-20120812] Tap. Old wet evergreen needles aroma has a hint of petrol wood. Clear, orange brown body with medium-lasting creamy off-white head. Bitter dry wood resin flavour has lots of dirty grass hops. Medium body. Tasty. (7-/3/7-/3/14) 3.4

Lots of citrus smell here. Pours with big head that dies down quick but leaves lots of lacing. Kind of a golden hue. Theres a lot of marmalade bitter without the sugar here. Some straw and a little barnyard, but not as strong as the petal pusher I just had in that sense. Bitterness hangs around for a while on the palate. Id say the smell is much more promising than the follow through on taste here, great aroma but medium palate.

Growler shared with and courtesy of garthicus. Pours a slightly hazy golden-orange with an average size diminishing frothy white head. Nice aroma of hemp, pine and catnip hops -- not much else but I like it. Flavour is also just those aforementioned hops, a little one-dimensional but itís very enjoyable. Decent bitter finish. Average to medium bodied. Good stuff, this growler will be easy to drink. -- Rated via Beer Buddy.

Aroma great front hop character. Clean crisp feel , excellent show of single hop.8-
Appearance fine haze on golden base. Medium off white to p with rings on glass.3+
Flavor and Palate : front accented my musky, zesty soapy notes. Strong single hop profile with bit too little malt support. Dry finish.

On draught at Bar Hop. Hazy gold, average white head. Lovely citrus and light pine aroma, a little sweet, but juicy and appealing. Taste follows, only light bitterness, very crisp, mild alcohol, light fresh grain. Average body, solid carbonation, quickish finish. Solid drinking APA.

In short: A bright blond IPA pushing forward superb freshness quality. Simple and excellent.
How: Bottle 650ml, consumed relatively fresh, a little over one month after bottling date, bottle sent to me by blankboy, thanks a lot Paul.
The look: Partly cloudy yellow blond body topped by a persistent small white head.
In long: Pleasant very bright nose that is somewhere between citrusy hops and lemongrass with some perfumy notes (flower petals). In mouth the beer offers a medium body and a tickling carbonation with many small bubbles. Pleasant malt backone with a clean and crisp crunchy cereals flavors, light honey notes, discreet residual sugars, fresh puffy pastry sensation. Then the bright (very bright) hops proposing white grapefruits, lemon zest, tangerines, lemongrass, a some resinous notes. Very clean, very bright and with an overall freshness sensation that usually donít get from bottled beers. Scarily drinkable. Give this beer a more cushiony mouthfeel and it could pass as a Hill Farmstead IPA. An excellent beer to celebrate a birthday, not mine, a strangerís birthday, we donít know each other, his name might be Gary, I donít know.
