On tap at the brewpub.
Hazy orange pour, with a big frothy white head. HUGE aroma of citrus hops, super juicy tangerines, mandarins, lemons and ornages. Incredible aroma!
Lively carb, light mouthfeel. Pungent bitter finish with some slight honey, and another buttload of c-hops. Incredibly drinkable, i want more! kevinsenn (2236) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 31, 2012
UPDATED: SEP 5, 2012 Bomber from the brewery, courtesy of courez; thanks! Pours clear amber, with a foamy 1-inch head that never seems to dissipate. Brilliant sweet tropical fruit aroma - wonderful! Sweet taste with fruity hops, and only a mild bitterness at the end. I could’ve done with a few more IBUs, but it was fantastic as is. Medium-bodied, with low carbonation (all the carbonation seemed to go straight into that head). A well-balanced pale ale, and a great example of the style. Also I’m now a big fan of Summit hops, which I had never heard of before. Edit: tried a second bottle, and the bitterness seemed to be much higher. In fact, with the second bottle, I could’ve done with a few LESS IBUs... rejtable (2766) - Ontario, CANADA - FEB 26, 2013
Pours orange, clear with a frothy white head that sticks around and lots of lacing. Nose is onion, maybe garlic and some grapefruit. Aromas are grapefruit, onion, with a spicy finish. No malt sweetness. Taste is pretty heavy on the bitterness. Body is medium, with some silky quality to it. Lively carbonation with an acidic bite. Great way to get the summit profile. Pale golden pour with a touch of haze along with some light spicy/piny hoppiness. A little bit of tropical grapefruit and citrus with some nice bright hoppiness. Clean and refreshing. Pretty damn solid APA.

How: Bottle 650ml, consumed relatively fresh, a little over one month after bottling date, bottle sent to me by blankboy, thanks a lot Paul.
The look: Partly cloudy yellow blond body topped by a persistent small white head.
In long: Pleasant very bright nose that is somewhere between citrusy hops and lemongrass with some perfumy notes (flower petals). In mouth the beer offers a medium body and a tickling carbonation with many small bubbles. Pleasant malt backone with a clean and crisp crunchy cereals flavors, light honey notes, discreet residual sugars, fresh puffy pastry sensation. Then the bright (very bright) hops proposing white grapefruits, lemon zest, tangerines, lemongrass, a some resinous notes. Very clean, very bright and with an overall freshness sensation that usually don’t get from bottled beers. Scarily drinkable. Give this beer a more cushiony mouthfeel and it could pass as a Hill Farmstead IPA. An excellent beer to celebrate a birthday, not mine, a stranger’s birthday, we don’t know each other, his name might be Gary, I don’t know.
On tap at the brewery.
A lightly cloudy straw gold. Big resinous, oily weed aroma - pungent. The taste is very savoury, incredibly herbal almost oregano and resinous weed flavor. Supremely balanced.

Growler from the brewery. Appearance: slightly hazy yellow, tiny white head. Aroma: Catty, weed, lemon, sharp, quite zesty. Spicy & pine. Flavour: Catty, pine, lots of lemon and mango, simple and delicious. Johnsense (1690) - - AUG 19, 2012
Amber/gold pour, good head, gobs of white lace. Aroma and Taste of Tangerine, ripe grapefruit, floral hops. Caramel and honey sweetness balance it out. Medium body. Hope they bring this one back - was perfect after a rainy day of shopping with the wife. hangunder (305) - Ontario, CANADA - FEB 18, 2013
Citrus, white grape, tropical aromas. Cloudy light yellow with a pretty long lasting white head. Mildly bitter upfront, tropical fruits/grape and a piney/earthy bitter finish. More of the catty or oniony aromas/tastes as it warms. The hop is front and center here, a bit of light sweetness from the malt. A tad watery body, quite light. Great APA. neongolden (1666) - Linköping, Sweden/Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 24, 2013
(650mL bomber from the brewery, bottled Feb 12 2013, consumed 11 days later) Poured a slightly hazy light yellow gold with a huge persistent head of white foam, no lace. Aroma dank, grassy, citrus and tropical fruit, great hoppy nose. Flavour hop-forward as well, tropical fruit, grassy, juicy citrus over very light crackery malt, almost no sweetness. Fades into a dry, moderately bitter grapefruit pith finish from the hops. Body is fairly light, carb was soft after that massive head, very dry overall. Hop-forward and quenching with little malt character, I think this is exactly what an APA should be. Needs more summer weather!
