Travlr (26065) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - OCT 24, 2017
Sampled during St Crispin's Day Feast, paired with beet & English breakfast porridge, mussels, smoked oysters, scallops. The beer was a hazy amber brown with scant head. Aroma of very light roast. Taste is lightly fruity coffee.

Muddy light brown. Looks terrible. Aroma is lightly toasty. Fizzy, dirty yeasty, thin. Just all wrong.

pushkinwow (2895) - Ottawa, CANADA - NOV 18, 2013
On cask at Beau’s Oktoberfest. Hazy mahagony with no head by the time it was delivered. Light caramel malt nose with light hops, low carbonation, smooth, mild, easy to drink but not much going on (as you would expect)...just prefer a little cleaner and crisp.

Spab (4066) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 7, 2013
On tap at Volo. Pours a clear rubyish brown with small off-white head. Aroma is lightly roasty with chocolate and hints of fruit and grass. Taste is most prominently of chocolate but with light fruitiness and a little grasiness. Average body. Mellow carbonation. Solid.

From Cask Days tent at Beau’s Oktoberfest 2013, Vankleek Hill. Dark amber with a short lived white head. Aroma is caramel and toasty. Flavor is hints of fruits, a bit of caramel, biscuits, soft, refreshing.Finish is herbal, earthy. Light body, watery mouthfeel, weak carbonation. Okay.

cask days 2013 @ beau’s oktoberfest. unclear dark burgundy pour with a small light beige head, soem retention and lacing. roasted peppery chocolate, mild fruitiness, grass and low on caramel. low carbonation, light body - not watery, dry peppery-grassy finish. maybe my most appreciate mild to date..

Lubiere (14150) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 4, 2013
A reddish copper ale with a thin big bubbled off white head. In aroma, light caramel malt with light grassy hops, OK. In mouth, a smooth biscuit malt with grassy British hops, OK. Cask at Beau’s Oktoberfest 2013.

solidfunk (9407) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - JAN 7, 2013
Pours dark copper with creamy head, lots of carpet lacing. Smells a little hoppy with some malt. Taste is light sour with light bitterness. Pretty high carbonation. Pretty decent for style. On tap at brewpub.

HogTownHarry (7065) - Toronto (Harbourfront), CANADA - JAN 3, 2013
January 2, 2013 - on draught at the brewpub. Like most of their beers, it looks fantastic - clear, deep and refractive reddish-copper with a long-lasting creamy beige/tan head and even thick lace remnant. It smells a bit like an ESB with no alcohol presence - floral and sweet, but still dry with just a hint of cocoa roastiness. Taste is very very smooth - simple, balanced, dry and quick-finishing - the dryness removes any residual sweetness and it leaves pretty much no aftertaste. On my next visit to Indie I am promising myself at least one full pint of this, no matter how many ratings are on.

UPDATED: DEC 8, 2014 [4956-20121117] Tap. Light nutty smoked grains aroma. Clear, dark cola body with a quick foamy off-white head. Toasted nutty malt flavour. Medium body. Fairly drinkable, well-balanced if you like milds a little on the dry side. (6+/3/7/4/14) 3.4

[5898C-20131005] Cask. Sweet sugary toasted grains aroma. Clear, brown mahogany body with a quick foamy white head. Watery toasted grains and sweet malt in the flavour. Medium-full body. Good. (7/3/7/4/14) 3.5
