2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Orangey sweet english hops belgian fruit esters light citrus tang melding malt and bittering. Light toast, melon.
Pours glowing light honey copper with huge white head that last for damn ever and leave sticky lacing. Nose astringent and Belgian up front with some citrus zest and juice. Earthy and spicy end. Hoppy and bitter on the tongue with a medium heavy body and sticky end. This is like the dipa of saisons. Too much. Taste is Agro hoppy malty like a dipa. Astringent and citrus comes through a little. Nice but aggressive. monk191 (1999) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 5, 2014
A solid, but not spectacular saison. Pours a very nice bright orange with a light white head. Not too much smell, a bit of citrus. Taste is balanced well, but not super interesting. Creamy, with some citrus and a sweetish finish. Had on tap at the brewery. baraciisch (3239) - California, USA - SEP 20, 2013
Slightly hazy golden orange in color... Aroma is earthy and grainy with notes of dirty socks... Flavor is citrusy and spicy, notes of belgian yeast, not much on the finish... Decent

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Yeast and light spice aroma. Yeast and light spice flavor with light fruitiness. Medium bodied. Yeast and light spice linger with light fruitiness and light malt. popery (2170) - San Francisco, California, USA - APR 12, 2013
Pours yellowish orange and quite cloudy. Almost entirely opaque. Small white head. The aroma is mostly just a semi generic Belgian flavor. Mostly light stone fruits with a mild medicinal note. It’s not bad, just a bit boring. Lots of malt sweetness. Raisins, dates, apricots, sugar cane, band aids, mild earth. Taste is sweet. Too sweet, really. The same general fruity flavors show up again, bit it’s mostly simple malt sweetness. A hint of citric hoppiness. Pretty normal carbonation, perhaps a bit on the low side for the style. I always have high hopes for new Northern California breweries, so this is somewhat disappointing. It’s just too sweet and not very interesting. The flavors aren’t bad, so I hope that they just work at drying this beer out and come back strong.
