On tap at San Diego Strong Ale Fest 2010boFNjackson (4201) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JAN 23, 2011
Appearance: Pours a dark brown with a micro film of tan oil.
Aroma: Sweet cherry pie filling.
Taste: Beautiful authentic cherry, slight chocolate roast, modest spicy hops.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, modest carbonation.
Overall: F&^cking awesome. I love this along with Alaskan’s Baltic Porter, which uses cherries.
Tap @ Bailey’s Cellar Fest [2009 Vintage]... One of my favorites from the fest! Poured near black with a thin, khaki head. Nice thin and clean mouthfeel which really endorsed the dark fruit cherry flavors. The cherries played only slightly medicinal but were countered by a decent amount of roasty and toasty malts. Plump, dark cherry skins that tasted fresh in character. Cocoa, and an amaretto liqueur tone. Like dessert in a glass! mcrowther (50) - ATLANTA, Georgia, USA - MAR 19, 2011
Bottle at a beer tasting- very tasty stuff, cherry flavor subdued and blends very well with the roasty flavor of the porter, I wish I could get more of this. craftbeerdesign (2254) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - MAR 25, 2011

Wowie, this is an awesome porter! Fairly certain it is a seasonal/limited release so if you see it around I would suggest snagging some if you’re a fan of the style. She pours a pretty dark brown with ruby hints and a thin tan head. Aroma and taste are about the same which is a great thing since they are both wicked. I have had porters and stouts with these or similar flavour combos and they end up being to sickly sweet and tasting pretty artificial. BBC does it night and subtlely without losing the promised flavours. No cough-syrup cherry business here! Smooth and slick liquid best slurped after it has been left at room temperature for awhile, I found it brought out more flavours. Dig it. pdx77 (1483) - Oregon, USA - OCT 19, 2013
On draught at Bend Brewing Co. Deep amber brown color. Aroma of milk chocolate, roasting, and sweet cherry. Taste is definitely like a cherry cordial chocolate. Sweet dessert beer finish. ricke49 (39) - La Pine, Oregon, USA - MAY 27, 2017
Perfect blend of Porter / cherry/ acidic flavors. Minimal head...sips smoothly bringing together traditional Porter qualities with a nicely subdued Cherry presence and a perfect acidic tartness in the aftertaste. This is a sipping / dessert brew - at its finest. JohnnyJ (5562) - San Diego, California, USA - DEC 8, 2010
Draft at SD Strong Ale Fest 10. Pours a deep dark brown, thin tan head. Dark roasted malts, sweet juicy red cherries, chocolate, and some sweet caramel. Sweet beer, but not sugary and artificial, no cough syrup. Chocolate covered cherries mmmm. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - OCT 20, 2013
