Draft. Pale straw beer with a whitish head. light mineral aroma. Mineral and light malt flavor. Lighter bodied. Mineral and light floral notes linger with light malt.

Draft at brewery. Clear, pale golden with small foamy head. Grainy notes dominate the aroma and taste, a bit of hops crispness, but not quite enough. Decent pils, but not enough oomph to raise it to the next level.

Tap at Bend Brewing. 4 oz sampler. A: Clear straw color, thin white head, lacing. N: Straw, peppercorn, grass, pine, cracker, lavender, light marijuana. Touch of lemon and pear. Some melon. T: Noticeably bitter, back by some sweet malt. A bit muddy. M: Light body, no alcohol, prickly carbonation. O: Solid pilsener. Not quite up there with the Boneyard, but this works for the style.

4 oz sampler pour at Eastern Oregon Beer Festival. Pours light golden with small white head. Aroma is malt, citrus, a bit of wheat. Flavor is malt, caramel, a bit of hops. Body is medium with average carbonation. Finish is dry and crisp.

Draft at the brewery. Slightly hazy pour, straw color. Sweet pilsner malt, corn, light herbal hops. The flavor is the same sweet maltiness, light hop notes, balancing bitterness. Solid.

Draft at Bend Brewing Co with Taylor. Poursyeppow gold almost no lacing. Aroma is pilsner malt, hint of hay. Taste is dried grassy hay, grainy like raw malt. Finish is long with some piss notes.

Tap at Bend Brewing, Bend, 23/05/13. Clear pale golden with a thin white head. Nose is pale malts, grass, citrus. Taste comprises lemon, touch of caramel, pale malt, grass, light cereals. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp and dry in the finish. A decent pils, refreshing on the beer patio and good to break up the stronger beers on the tasting flight.

Sample at the brewpub. Clear yellow color with a medium thin white head that evaporates steadily. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops and grain. Light-bodied with flavors of mildly bitter herbal hops and bready malt. The finish is short with a lightly hopped aftertaste. Pretty average overall.
