Purchased at Village de la Biere in Strasbourg, France; enjoyed at my hotel in Eppingen, DE before a busy work week. Appearance is a cola-like brown with a rich off white head that rims around the glass. Aroma of grapes, wine yeast, a bit of dark chocolate malt, smell is slightly faint. Taste goes down nice and smooth, full bodied, rich, tastes pretty good. For the 2nd French beer I’ve had I’m pretty happy with this. jaghana (6065) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - FEB 9, 2013
Bottle 33cl, a golden beer with good head. Nose is fruity with . Aroma is dry with light grapes and caramel, floral hops associated with a vinous kind of body and hazel nut touch, light astringency at the finish. Kind of beer to be re tasted more older.
