Bottle from Le Cellier des Arcades, Arras - FR. Color: clear golden blond beer with small carbonation and medium white foam. Smell: nice hoppy nose. Floral and fruity domination. Good balance with caramel malt. Nice Pale Ale. Taste: medium body with nice caramel malt structure well balanced with fruity and floral hops. Nice IPA, really fruity and floral, easy drinkable with good attenuation. Aftertaste: wet bitterness, small caramel and sweet finish.

UPDATED: MAY 18, 2016 Robe blonde dorée légèrement trouble, haute mousse blanche très persistante. Nez fleuri et d’agrumes. Bouche moyennement amère, agrumes et résine, une touche de miel, finale sèche et amère. Forte carbo, corps léger. Fraiche et rafraichissante.

Huge, bit fluffy, just yellowish head over metallic light-copper beer. Very fruity, aromatic NW-hops, finish displaying some ureum and dry straw; hayloft odours. Dry-hoppy, again straw and hay, as well as light green fruit. Light body, bit gristslickness; well-carbonated; long lasting aromatic flavours. Very aromatic and inviting ale - and, if I may say so, utterly un-Alsacian, despite the inevitable Strisselspalt.

Bottle at Colmar, Frence. Slightly hazy brownish with huge white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, floral with some graininess. Flavor of tropical fruits and citrus, a bit grassy, medium hoppy bitterness, light malty sweetness. Medium carbonation, medium-bodied. Refreshing and nice.

33cl bb 03/2017 courtesy of jaghana, merci. Duller hay yellow pour. Mixed nose of white grape, lemongrass, canned gooseberry and Belgian ale yeast fumes recalling damp pasture and dandelion. Weirdly earthy and also exotic in taste, with again a clashing near-vegetal dandelion bitterness on top of a contained ester Belgian yeast profile, creating an astringenty furry palate. Interesting and drinkable, but conflicted and unbalanced to my palate: too much going on, going off in several directions at once.

Jarastlad (52) - Arlon, BELGIUM - MAR 10, 2015
33 cl Bottle from Miorge-Mihoublon, Arlon, Belgium. The aroma is what you’d expect of the amarillo hop : nice citrus and orange tang followed by mango and peache notes. It pours a nice gold slightly coppery clear color. The taste is very nice, caracterised by lightness combined with a dry, bitter, quenching finish. Fruity notes are present all along the drink. I wouldn’t call it "Bière blonde" as it is labelled. It is far closer to an IPA. Very good beer which prooves that the French Brewing Tradition is revived and promises nice surprises !

UPDATED: APR 30, 2015 Bottle, 33cL. Home. Trade with @Calisky. Thank you ! A brown orange opaque beer with a big white creamy head ; good retention head. Fruity aroma (citrus), roast, resin, herbs and biscuit. Medium dry bitter refreshing, light sweet. Light to medium body, medium texture, good carbonation, dry lasting bitter "fruity" finish. Overall, a pleasant blond ale : good bitterness ; fruity resinous aroma.
