Amber cloudy color, with a lot of carbonation, fruity flavour, something like banana.

kraddel (9176) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - NOV 24, 2017
Pours unclear, much darker than anticipated for, as this is a shade of amber, rather than the common pale/yellow, turbid pour. Small white head, which is also not too typical for the style. Smell is banana esthers, mild phenols, thick, medium intensity, which is lower than the AVG for the style. Taste is rather bitter, slick mf due to the combo of esthers and wheat. Banana, but not as fresh as other examples. Some Phenols. Wheat shows off. Rather high carbo.

From the 500 ml. can with an expiration date of 01/06/18. Cloudy light amber pour underneath a lingering, foamy white head. Sediment deposit perhaps. I enjoyed the aroma a lot. It was a bevy of toasted bread, toasted biscuit, wheat, sweet caramel or toffee malts, sweet Euro-malts, butterscotch, and a mild grassy note. Te body is medium or better. The taste is very sweet and rich with little to no hop finish. But this goes down fast.

Aroma: Look: Taste: Palate: Overall:

Bottle from Lidl, Carrick-on-Shannon [011017]

Orange amber, hazy, off white frothy head

Aroma - soft light sweet fruity pale malt, touch of wheat, no clove or banana, not much on nose

Taste - soft fruity malts, light wheat, dull at first, slight clove as it warms up

Palate - soft carb, medium to thin body, light creamy, slightly sour fruits. Finish - bit dry, soft wheat and fruits, light bitter, rapid finish, bit watery

Overall - Rather dull, but gets better as it wams up. Average, OK fare

A bottle from the basement of Shinkong Mitsukoshi, opposite Main Station. Aroma: a bit sour. Appearance: cola, hazy amber, 5mm. off-white bubbles. Palate: light-bodied, rather thin, soft carbonation. Predominantly sweet finish. Taste: medium sweet, bubblegum at the finish, though the flavour is not sustained. Alright, nothing special.

Looks amazing, amber, hazy, firm, tall foam. Smells typically, not too intesively, i.e. bananas and coriander, but also some iron. The taste is very good, It's light, smooth, dry, bananas are present. Also some pleasant, medium for the style, bitterness in the back. Very drinkable. One good weiss!

31. 10. 2017, Klimno. Bottled. Nice familiar yeasty aroma, a bit held back. Orangey unfiltered colour with full blown head with low retention. Taste is classical Heffeweizen beer, banana notes, properly balanced. Mouthfeel is fullbodied, med carb, a bit of silky feel to it. Nice, but not quite among the best.

0,5 L bottle, at Burg Eltz. Pours a dark, hazy orange, with a big, frothy, cream colored head. The aroma is orange peel, coriander, bread dough, and pepper. Sweet, with a mild, pleasant bitterness. Light body, with a chewy, thick, and bready mouthfeel. This is an easy and delicious weizen.
