"Benediktiner Weissbier naturtrüb": Fruchtig frischer Duft nach Banane. Ebenso im Geschmack, dazu leicht säuerliche Hefearomen und etwas Bitterkeit. Schön, dass es nicht so klebrig im Nachgeschmack ist.

simontomlinson (369) - Blackburn, Lancashire, ENGLAND - MAY 1, 2017
Off white creamy head kept growing on a cloudy orange, finely effervescent body. Yeast, & sweet citrus aroma. Smooth on the palate, airy. Sweet citrus, bready & banana tastes.

IslandHaole (1268) - Misawa, JAPAN - APR 25, 2017
An attractive amber color with a substantial cream colored foamy head. Nose of mild floral hops and bread with hints of spice. Nice feel, has the typical sweet banana bread flavors of a wheat beer with a touch of tartness. Solid if unremarkable, a nice beer for the Cherry Blossom viewing in Japan!

Rehkopff (73) - Odense, DENMARK - APR 21, 2017
Flot rødgylden med fint skum. Behagelig duft af hvedeøl. Ren og neutral i smagen og en fin eftersmag af humle og sødme. Hvedeøl som en hvedeøl skal smage. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: MAY 29, 2017 300 ml from tap. Pale bright orange colour. Yeasty, grainy, hay. Sour hint, a bit sweet and a bit bitter. Typical Weizenbier taste, but nothing special. Well carbonated, oily texture, medium body. Refreshing mass produced Weizen.

3.6
hauxe (757) - Butzbach, Hesse, GERMANY - MAR 30, 2017
Pours cloudy orange from the bottle with a big, foamy head. The aroma is apple juice and banana. Taste is banana sweet, bready, with the Weizen malt coming through strongly going into the finish. Medium bodied with a nicely balanced carbonation. Not exceptional, but still a good representative of the style.
