Pounder: Banana nose, subtle bubble gum and lemon notes. Cloudy orange, thick yellow head, nice lace. Banana, apple. Medium body, soft carbonation. Good representative of a favorite style, in a favorite package format, at an absurdly low price. Yep, I’ve found my everyday beer.

(bottle) pours a murky golden color with a small frothy white head. aroma of white grapes, caramel and multi-grain bread, quite earthy, with a subtle hint of vanilla and lemons. flavour is mostly the same, caramel is dominant, with a hint of raisins, wheat and a slightly dry alcoholic finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Ein einfach, unspektakuläres Weizen, das mit seiner Würze und leichten Säure zu überzeugen weiß. Wenige Aromen, nicht mal bananig, dafür recht frisch und erfrischend. Nett !

11.2oz bottle. Cloudy orange body. Massive foamy white head. Not such an impressive aroma, not such an impressive taste. Drinkable, but this is one of the easiest styles out there. Tastes like a sub-par brewpub example, not exactly what you’d expect from a German. Some buttery sweet caramel tones underneath. Not one I’d go back for more of.

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2014 18.11.2013, 0,5l bottle @ hotel room in Madeira:
Nice creamy longlasting head. Aroma is kind of salty, wheat, broth, yeast, hay, caramel, dough, hints of fishsauce. Taste is slightly doughy, wheat, yeast, hay, grain, broth, caramel. Medium bitterness. Fair enough.

Poured from draft at vintage lounge. Cloudy orange with white head. Crazy sweet fruity aroma. Taste is slightly bitter, tropical, banana, and also sweet. Not a bad beer

This is a godsend here in Bogota, colombia, as all colombian beers are pretty much terrible (sorry my beautiful wife). This is a bit too wheaty for my taste but the fruity flavor is still nice.
