The first new weiss I have had in a long time that is worth talking about. This is a quality, classic German Hefeweizen. Beautiful beer, with a tall white head, and different shades of orange color, it looks like egg yolk when the last swirl with sediment goes in. Aroma has wheat and light fruit. Sweet flavor, with more wheat, some citrus, and banana. This is good. Thick palate.

11.2oz bottle. Cloudy orange body. Massive foamy white head. Not such an impressive aroma, not such an impressive taste. Drinkable, but this is one of the easiest styles out there. Tastes like a sub-par brewpub example, not exactly what youd expect from a German. Some buttery sweet caramel tones underneath. Not one Id go back for more of.

Hazy orange with decent lacy head. Although the flavour is not strong it is well balanced. Lies on the spicy side with a little bit of orangey sweetness.

This is a godsend here in Bogota, colombia, as all colombian beers are pretty much terrible (sorry my beautiful wife). This is a bit too wheaty for my taste but the fruity flavor is still nice.

Bottle - this is a might fine looking beer - effervescent body - thick, creamy, lasting head - the rest doesnt match, but isnt bad - a little thin on the palate - a bit of bubblegum - a little sweet, overripe bananas, apples - a light acidity - a little bit of spiciness in the finish - lacks the depth of character you want from the style, but okay.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden body with a large cloudy white head. Nose is mild banana, clove, grains, caramel and hints of straw and bread crust. Taste is banana, clove, grainy caramel tones and hints of biscuits, straw and nuts. Medium body, high carbonation. Very pleasant weizen with a nice nutty touch, rather drinkable. Me like.
