Bottled 500ml. -from Kuća Piva, Zagreb. Hazy dark orange/amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, banana and some caramel in the nose. Sweet malty, wheaty and caramel with notes of fruits and spices. Also banana and mild cloves. Mild acidic finish. Refreshing, easy-drinkable and pleasant weizen.

Bottle. Pours crystal clear amber, medium puffy beige head, nice lacing. Aroma is wheat, cardboard, grass, grain. Flavor is the same, light sweet, minimal bitterness, light lemon. Medium body, high carbonation. Meh.

FROTHINGSLOSH (7161) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 9, 2012
Sampled from a 16.9 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark orange-amber color with an enormous creamy orange-white head that lingered forever and left great lacing. The aroma was tart sugar, taffy, clove and bread. The flavor was tart citrus, clove, anise, honey and bread. Long finish with citrus, bread, clove and honey lingering. Moderately full bodied. Solid if unspectacular.

Nov 2012 - cask. A lot of lager qualities about it. Some wheat and spice. Overall I wasnt fussed about it. Poor in the context of other German wheat beers Ive had.

Sigmund (6950) - Tau, NORWAY - MAR 30, 2014
500 ml bottle, bought in Denmark, probably at Voldby Kbmandsgaard. ABV is 5.4%. BB date 20.07.13. Hazy orange colour, large white head. Smells a bit "off", sweetish notes of malts and caramel, only hints of banana and cloves. The flavour is somewhat better, malty character, not too sweet, but again the typical hefeweizen notes of "banana & cloves" are very subdued. Lacks some of the "freshness" of a better hefeweizen, Might buy a fresher bottle at another occasion, to re-rate.

Clear amber color with lasting ivory head. Mild alcohol, caramel, toast, banana aromas. medium body. Nice wheat, toast, caramel, light fruit, banana flavors--not bad.

500ml bottle. Hazy, bright amber colour with average, frothy to creamy, off-white head. Wheaty, slightly bready and fruity aroma, hints of banana and clove, a touch of mandarine. Taste is wheaty, minimally bready, slightly dry, grassy hoppy overtones. Not that heavy on the banana trip.
