Rehkopff (73) - Odense, DENMARK - APR 21, 2017
Flot rødgylden med fint skum. Behagelig duft af hvedeøl. Ren og neutral i smagen og en fin eftersmag af humle og sødme. Hvedeøl som en hvedeøl skal smage. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sweet banana aroma. Light yellow amber body with huge foamy white head. Mild creamy banana and lemony taste. Refreshing and very drinkable.

Lekker wit bier, met een specifieke smaak, net iets anders dan andere bekende Duitse witbieren. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

olio (10269) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 23, 2011
50 cl bottle @ Gastropub Tuulensuu, Tampere.
Pours cloudy orange colour with medium head. Aroma of lightly sour apricot which reminds me of saisons, light caramel, grass, wheat and distant notes of banana. Flavour of apricot and wheat. Medium-bodied, medium co2. Well balanced and surprisingly refreshing.

esox (1225) - Oulu, FINLAND - NOV 24, 2011
Hazy, reddish orange colour. Thick, creamy head. Mellow, round wheat aroma. Somewhat spicy, slightly peppery yeastiness with nice peachy frutiness, bubblegum and banana, some cloves. Slightly berryish finish with a hint of cherries. Medium sweet flavor, a hint of bitterness in the finish. Medium body, round and velvety texture. Great weizen.

Bottle: Nice solid hefe weizen, very well crafted and balanced. Full malty / wheat body with not-too-sweet fruity taste. Banana, vanilla, dough. Food Pairing: Weisswurst.

UPDATED: JUL 14, 2015 Cloudy orange colour, huge frothy head. Stays. The nose is fruty, spicy, earthy (quite rich). Light to medium body. The flavour is pretty dry. Some spicyness is there. Notable hoppy bitterness. The same in finish. Generally a good Weizen

poisoneddwarf (2511) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - AUG 4, 2013
Rating from yesterday. 16.9 oz bottle. Pours an odd hazy amber with a medium long-sustaining pillowy off-white head; leaves some lace. Nose is mildly aromatic for style, with hints of clove and banana peeking through; also some wet stone. Taste is nice and very hefe-like with clove and less prominent banana coming through. Mouthfeel is creamy. Nice hefe, but there are better.
