Hazy copper color with a frothy white head that is slow to recede, splashes of lace. This is a very good hefeweizen. Caramel and malted wheat provide a clean start, followed by edgy carbonation bittering, and finishing with a light semi-sweet banana and spice. Well conceived, good-looking, easy to drink, not filling. Highly recommended.

From draft in good shape. Multiple glasses. Amber-hued body under a properly billowy head. Sugar cookie, wheat malt, toast / bread crust, a little dough. Lots of bright esters and phenols: herbs, wood, spice, a touch of peppercorn boldness. Frothy, fine carbonation with a soft malt body made more doughy by the yeast. Off-dry and lightly tart, medium to low bitterness, high minerality, acids are bright but don’t overwhelm. This sits firmly in amber-weisse territory, the higher kilned malt give it a caramelized sugar savoriness to go with the bread crust / toast character, and the esters shy away from the banana and apple character I dislike in weissebier yeast.

Botella 50cl en Carrefour. Alemana de trigo muy rica. Quizá no tanto como la Weihenstephaner o Franzisksner pero es muy disfrutable. Muy buen aroma y sabor.

Pours a beautiful gold with a thick frothy head of off-white foam, mostly lasting. Nose is of grain and hops. Very creamy on the palate, the taste is a mild mixture of medium roasted grains with a slight yeast flavor and muted hops. Not as flavorful as some other German Weiss beers. Pairs well with nuts and pretzels.

Bottle. Complex aroma and flavour of banana, baked apple, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, vanilla, sponge cake and subtle caramel. Intense, refreshing, satisfying. Excellent weizen.

This is such an excellent wheat beer. Lighty banana smell, soft wheath taste, excellent colour... Even though it is not a flawless one it still pass all the expectatives about a good german wheat beer.

Cloudy orange golden color with a fine white head. Ok lacing down the glass. Looks great and inviting. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium (+) body and a fine carbonation. Mellow nice sweetness. Wheat, some yeast, clove and banana in the flavor.

With a golden pale appearance and a caramel and honey aroma, with strong wheat taste, this monastery beer has a medium carbonation and a medium body. Deserves a try, I would recommend it and drink again.
