Murky brown color with ruby highlights and a thin light brown head. Interesting aroma of malt, honeyish sweetness and yeast. Good flavor of malt, honeyish sweetness and yeast. The body is medium and creamy while the carbonation is soft. Interesting.

(Rating #2133)

Tap at the Brewpub: Pours brown with an amber hue and a dense tan film of head that lasts. Aroma has a milky/lactose quality, as well as nutty cocoa hints. Light feel on the palate. A touch of roast comes through in the flavor- some subdued grape hints underneath malt husks and again, cocoa plays a part. The finish is lightly bitter and nondescript. Not bad, fairly unique.
