On tap at Bénélux. The color is a hazy honey with a thin beige head. The aroma is of malt . The taste is also of malt and a mix of herbs, apricots, spicies, honey and yeast. Very pleasant taste in the mouth, a good Abbaye for my taste. Rciesla (5607) - Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA - DEC 30, 2010
Draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy golden nectar with a white head and decent retention. Citrus and wheat tones, and dry herbal body. Fruity yeast toned esters citrus and apple notes. Soft with a light drying finish. Hit the spot while sitting outside. Travlr (26268) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - SEP 29, 2010

aroma of dried grass, wet grass, and some wet cardboard. Flavor was stale hops, malted grains, and some light peppery booze. really nothing special.

Dry, musty aroma with cork and white grape. Clear dark straw appearance under a white ring. Fruity flavour that has some celery. Nice balance of bitter, carbonation, and sweetness. Light to medium body, medium carbonation, moderate woody bitter finish.
Nice looking hazy blonde with a medium white head. Delicate nose of herbaceous hops, medium body with a lot of residual sugars made this one a little heavy on the palate. Too malty for the style in my sense, but neverheless a respectable effort. JoeMcPhee (9587) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 4, 2009
Tap at Benelux. Pale straw colour. Aroma shows a light apricot nose, along with clove and banana. The flavour is pretty nice. Although this yeast has been done to death, the brewer here has managed to restrain its inherent sweetness. A light spicy hoppiness on the back. Nice clovey finish on the back of the palate. A very respectful Belgian Ale. Warming bring up some more berryish fruit. It’s nice. PilsnerPeter (3049) - Flushing, New York, USA - JAN 8, 2009
Tap at the Brewpub: Pours golden with good clarity and a white ring of head. Lightly sweet pale malts in the aroma- a touch biscuity with a fresh yeast note. Fluffy feel- softly sweet pale malts presence in the flavor gives a bread crust character, a honey-ish back note, and some lightly sweet phenolics. A solid, sessionable Belgian Ale. notalush (5935) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - AUG 24, 2008
The batch served at the brewpub on 8/21/08 stated 7% abv - perhaps a slight recipe change? - anyway, this was another great beer from them - hazy golden pour, with a soapy, thick head - lovely aroma of lavender-steeped honey, wildflowers, a bit of spices - the flavor starts honey sweet, but on the whole it is not as sweet as the aroma suggests - a lot of herbal character and subtle peppery spice cut off the sweetness - finishes refreshing, and a bit hoppy and crisp - nice.
