Lubiere (14151) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 17, 2009
A golden lager with a thin white head. A nice German hops aroma with light biscuitty malt. In mouth, a crisp lager with german hops, herbal and grassy. On tap at Fête Bières et Saveurs, Sept. 7, 2009.

Sammy (12760) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 4, 2010
On-tap at Mondiale 2010. A little musty smell. Golden yellow with lots of lace. Lighter mouthfeel. Not very drinkable.

MartinT (10036) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 6, 2009
My Bottom Line:
This Pilsener’s poignant herbal and resinous hoppiness bounces off cracking hay and straw, leading to a balanced, generous bitterness which compels you to drink bigger gulps.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy slice of foam decorates the clear golden.
-Carbonation is cushiony and the mouthfeel is crisp and refreshing.
-The exclusive use of Magnum hops is perfect in giving this lager a personality which is distinct from most euro-brewed pilseners.
-I get the impression I will completely fall in love with this one when I get the chance to have a few pints of it in a row. Please brew this more often, Benoit!

On tap at the Mondial de la Bière.

(Rating #2446)

Draught at ’Mondial de la Biere 2009’, Montréal, QC. Pours a hazy orange with a small creamy white head. Aroma: I’m not a huge fan of Pilseners but this smells right on style to me: Bready along with grassy Euro hops, some hay, grains and cereal. Flavour’s bready with Euro hops along with cereal and some citrus -- again right on style. Long bitter finish. Medium bodied. As far as Pilseners go, this is one of the better ones for sure.

Radek Kliber (7483) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - JUN 15, 2010
Mondial de la bière Montréal 2010
Aroma frontal golden malts , fresh with citric end.
Appearance bright golden loook with lighter top.3-
Flavour and Palate mid bodied with medium carbonation. Straight pilsner with decent bitterness. Ok but not great.

HogTownHarry (7065) - Toronto (Harbourfront), CANADA - OCT 20, 2009
Draught. Mondiale 2009 - day 3. Hazy light gold, average white head. Aroma of grain and perfume, and in the taste some honey and increasing, nearly harsh bitterness. Average grainy body, fast-finishing - pretty boring, if clean, stuff.

Boutip (6533) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - APR 7, 2011
Draft: Poured a clear light golden color pilsner with a small pure foamy head light lacing. Aroma of lightly sweet cereal notes with some light hoppy notes also discernable. Taste is also a well balance and refreshing mix between some lightly sweet cereal notes with a subtle dry hoppy finish with nice floral aroma. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Well brewed and refreshing. Something I would like to have more often.

Glouglouburp (6103) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 11, 2009
UPDATED: DEC 21, 2009 In short: A big body uber-hoppy pilsner that stands out from the crowd.
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Clear blonde body topped by a white ring of foam
In long: Nose of dry grass. A whole lot of cereals in this one. The attack is full of crisp yet chewy bread & hay with a light honey flavour. This is followed by a ton of tasty grassy resinous hops. Very long finish, very bitter and rather dry with a little sand-paper sensation. With such an hop avalanche the beer could have used a slightly sweeter malt profile. Something about the whole thing makes it something else than yet-another-good-pilsner but I cannot describe it. This tasty refreshing brew should be brewed regularly because I’m a big fan of Magnum P.I.lsner.

Rciesla (5607) - Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA - DEC 24, 2010
Draft. Pours a golden body with a white head. Tame light milled grain notes and a bland hoppiness. Quaint and light with a mild soft bitterness. Light cereal notes and a faint hop tone. Ok.
