A golden saison with a thin white head. In aroma, a smooth herbal and fruity spiced malt, grassy, coriander, light sulfur. In mouth, a nice spiced up saison with coriander, peppercorn, nice and smooth. On tap at Cactus, Dec. 21 2012.

On tap. Fresh nose with pine notes and the obvious rosemary. Taste is even more fresh, with an ample mouth due to the spicing. Plenty refreshing, even more so as it warms. It is not sour by any mean, but there is a mouth watering factor in effect here. Feels a bit like what the Saison du BUFF should have been (at least the DFH edition). Hopefully there will be some left until next summer for a nice quenching drink on the Cactus terrace. Great job by the Microbroue team!

On tap at Cactus Resto Bar. Seemed like straw (can’t see so well in the red lighting), clear body, short-lasting white head. Smell is salty, spicy, and fruity. Taste is sweet cereals, maize, spices, fruits (mango, orange). Some metallic taste in the finish, along with light hoppiness. Somewhat herbal, somewhat citrusy. Very sweet, fruity, lingering flavor. Medium bodied. Very refreshing, satisfying, Summer ale.
