Armada was briefly matured in whiskey with tamarind, cinnamon stick, cocoa syrup, carob and pepper smoked Morita. Aroma of coconut, vanilla taste, sweet and spicy? Absolutely not!
Drank on tap (10 oz) at the brewpub on April 28, 2012. Muddy brown, little head. Aroma of chocolate and sour berries, malty and slightly woody. Woody cocoa taste, vanilla and a subtle touch of pepper, aftertaste of vanilla and herbs. A funky beer for funky people!
