Amber ale with an average head. Cereal, biscuit and hop aroma. Nice balance between the hops and sugars. Medium bodied. Nice beer. tiggmtl (4543) - East York, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 28, 2006
Spicy rye plays well with citrus hops along with some earthy, herbal notes in the nose. Clear copper coloured body is topped by a decent white head that recedes to a lasting coverwith excellent lacing. Very dry malt forward flavour shows off the spicy rye character nicely and plays well against the assertive bitterness. Herbal, earthy, citrus hop flavours come into play toward the finish. Medium light body is quite dry with lively carbonation that engages the tongue. Sampled on tap at the brewpub. PWheatley (119) - , Quebec, CANADA - JAN 14, 2010
Pint on tap at the brew pub. Pours a little darker than a normal Pale Ale. The rye is certainly present in the aroma as well as the hops. Taste was malty and bitter, well balanced. The taste lingered in the back of the mouth for quite a while. Over all, this is another excellent brew from Benelux, I would be more than happy to drink this all the time. davidm (2081) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - DEC 24, 2010
Tap at the brewery. Very interesting beer. Aromas of citrus, caramel, and grain. Taste is sweet, with bitterness taking over, and average duration. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Orange, bubbly, with a frothy head. j12601 (13091) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - DEC 19, 2015
On tap at the brewery on Sherbrooke. Pours a faintly hazed orange amber with a medium sized white head. Soft melon and musk on the nose, light citrus. Medium bodied, floral and fruity, nice melon notes with a hint of passion fruit and mango. Gentle musk on the finish, lingering sweet citrus and light dusty tropical fruit.

UPDATED: AUG 14, 2011 In short: Clean and solid Rye-based APA. Very good.
How: Tap at brewpub, many many times. Latest version is 5.4%
The look: Clear golden-copper body with a medium off-white head.
In long: Dry caramelized grainy malts meet juicy orangy floral hops. The rye really shows up in this one.. Well balanced beer with a medium sweetness countered by a sharp medium bitterness. Very clean and very solid. One of the first beer from this recent brewpub. I had it over a year ago the first time the brewed and I didn’t care much for it back then but this beer has been steadily getting better. Now drinking this beer makse me feel like meeting a former highschool nerd library rat from 10 years ago that is now a foxy bombshell, I regret any mean things I may have said about her.
