A golden amber IPA with a thin lacing and creamy off white head. In aroma, pungeant floral hops, honey, pineapple, tropical fruits. In mouth, a good biscuitty malt, over funky hops, menthol, rather nice and smooth, lightly oily, Nelson Sauvin touches. Good. On tap at brewpub, 5th Anniversary, April 30th, 2011. Aroma : Lots of malt with great floral and fruity citrusy hops. Strong cereals on nose. Hops are slightly green. Extensive lacing.
Taste : Rich malty cereals with resinous and citrusy hops. Lots of malt on the finish with great hops.
Overall : Didn’t feel as hoppy as I aprehended. Malt was quite present. Highly drinkable and very tasty. Maybe this batch was a bit young.
On tap at Bénélux. The color is a hazy honey with a thick beige head and lace. The aroma is of hops and citrus fruits. The taste also os hops and citrus fruits mostly of pnik grapefruit. It has that super great bitterness of a great I.P.A.. The finish is so good biterness and just enough dryness. This was sooooo good. lalu (40) - Laval, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 27, 2011
UPDATED: OCT 21, 2011 Really strong citrus and pine aroma, boom! douglas88 (9713) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 16, 2011
Cloudy yellow with nice thick head that sticks to the glass.
Taste is very bitter load of pine and citrus fruit.
Light bodied, oily hops and good carbonation.
Long bitter finish.
This is the best ipa brewed in Quebec.
I had to re-rate this, they fine tuned this beer and it is a masterpiece!
On tap at the brewpub. I had to order a pint more of this. Pours a cloudy bright orange color with a medium thick white head. A really nice hoppy fruity nose. The flavor is mellow but strong; sweet Nelson hops, light bitterness, loads of oranges, tangerines and tropical fruit. A very nice IPA. strowlands8 (255) - Ontario, CANADA - JAN 24, 2011
Aroma of mango and peach. Appearance was golden with some hazy-ness. Taste is similar to the aroma with more fruit flavour coming through, especially the mango, with a bit of grass and a long bitter finish. Sweet beer really never had an ipa that tasted anything like this before. rodenbach99 (4678) - Longueuil, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 26, 2010
Vraiment succulente.
