On tap at Benelux, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a large white head. Aroma of pungent resinous hops, some tropical fruits and sufficient caramel malt backing. Flavour is quite wild and funky for an IPA, with horse blanket, herbally hops, some grapefruit peel, and enough mat simply to back. Very pleasant bitterness and funk that linger. On tap at Mondial de la bière Montréal 2015. An unclear orange-golden beer with a fingerthick light beige head. Citrusy, piney and resiny aroma with hints of pale malts. It’s full-bodied and smooth, nicely carbonated, with a nice bitterness. Hop forward flavor with pale malts in the back. Quite dryish, with a lasting bitter and citrusy, piney finish. On tap @ Benelux. Hazed orange pour with sticky white foam. A lot of citrus fruits but sort of a sticky, sweet banana thing to it. Pretty nice aroma overall, though. Slight celery note to the palate kind of ruins it, though. Flavor has a good citrus peel bitterness, some bread, sweet apricot, and grass. A little "Belgiany" on the finish. A golden amber IPA with a thin lacing and creamy off white head. In aroma, pungeant floral hops, honey, pineapple, tropical fruits. In mouth, a good biscuitty malt, over funky hops, menthol, rather nice and smooth, lightly oily, Nelson Sauvin touches. Good. On tap at brewpub, 5th Anniversary, April 30th, 2011.

On tap at the brewery on Sherbrooke. Pours a hazed gold with a medium sized white head. Soft melon with a faint hint of green onion behind it, caramel. Medium bodied, green onion comes through even more, with a touch of vanilla. Sweet, sweaty, caramel and malt. I can never get past that green onion. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, citrus, grass and grape. Taste is light to medium sweet and medium bitter with a long citrus, grape and grassy finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.
2011-10-30. Lightly hazy golden body, small frothy white head. 3+ Modest hoppy aroma has a light leafy character, and a modest citrus melange. 7+ Flaovur is similar, modest green leafy hops are pleasant, modest bitterness throughout, lemon and grapefruit seed in the finish. My Bottom Line:
Pineapple, pink grapefruit, mangos and pears burst from this tropical India Pale Ale’s outgoing personality, undulating into a resinous hop bitterness after having been taken back to the ground by friendly pils malt subtleties.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-Many tufts of foam bulge from the cloudy orangey blond, drawing lots of lacing on the pint glass.
-Have I said this was a terrific hoppy quencher? This was a terrific hoppy quencher.
-The soft mouthfeel brought forth by the lean body and natural carbonation makes this feel like a low gravity brew. Really dangerous!
-The hoppy finish develops coniferous angles, and makes you imagine tree bark and forest floors. Almost as magical as the fruity aroma.
