In short: A rustic, almost wild, woody dry Saison. Very good
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Clear blonde body topped by a small white head
In long: Nose is uber-rustic with countryside farmhouse and mild leathery funk sensation. Taste is packed with a lot of semi-toasted cereals, a touch of caramel, woody notes reminiscent of construction wood sawdust, rustic yeast, old attic. Finish is mostly dry. This aged blend was less fruity than both base beers and offered a very different experience. A very good Saison, and the most the most important things you need to know about me is that I really like dry rustic Saisons and I really hate mass murderers. In that order.
